if you go to www.g4tv.com and go to Cinematech, the episode airing on Wednesday at 10 PM eastern time, in the description of the episode, it mentions "trailers for brand new games" and also "See "Knuckles The Echidna"'s dark secret", could they be revealing a new game on Cinematech?

I didn't look at the link, but I seriously doubt that thing is talking about a Knuckles game. It's probably referring to the Shadow game in any event.

Interesting, but the synopsis is clearly speaking about past events and games, such as the history of Castlevania; and mentioning games which have long since been released like JSRF and Alone in the Dark.
Probably going to be mentioning something about Knuckles Chaotix 32X which was a pretty rare, little heard of game outside of the Sonic community.
Actually, I think that there will be a Knuckles solo game. Furthmore I think that there'll be a Tails solo game unveiled sooner or later (and I hope it's based upon the fantastic Tails Adventures game on Game Gear).
There have been more than enough clues that this will be coming.
Personally, as far as solo games for Sonic characters go I just want a Tails Adventures 2, a full on Team Chaotix game and (though not technically Sonic) a new Flicky game.
And hopefully somewhere down the line we'll actually get a good no-nonsense Sonic game.

Didn't Sega carry out a survey on their sega.com website with various options to have characters from the Sonic series in their own games? However I can't remember what characters were on the list and the title names.

Even if this is not a Knuckles game going to be revealed, I think there will be a solo Knuckles/Knuckles Chaotix game because Knuckles was a popular in the 90's as Shadow is today, but he still is pretty popular.

Remember how the Shadow game was revealed not long after that poll closed? Makes me wonder if they had a rolling demo produced for a Knuckles, Tails or Dr. Eggman game just in case they came out tops.

What I want to know is why G4 would have this game first while big internet gaming sites or sega have said nothing. I think someone at G4 screwed up.

Well Tails, Knuckles, Sonic and now Shadow have had solo games. Eggman technically had one in Mean Bean Machine.
Short of another Sega Pico affair, I doubt Cream will get one, Hillary Clinton will try to ban anything starring Rouge and a game with Amy as the star just wouldn't be interesting.
A game starring Rouge would probably be a Lara Croft affair, running around gathering treasure. And her character design would need a major overhaul to make it bearable to stare at her ass for six hours.

A lot of people harbor a secret furry fetish...personally I prefer male roles in my adventure games so I can't get distracted by the character and can focus on the games instead of why is this female character slapping her sexuality in my face?

The problem with, say, a Rouge/Amy duo game would be Sega's insistence on having it appeal to a certain demographic. Not that they shouldn't try to cater to the ladies, but more often than not what you end up with is this.
At the other side of the spectrum, the alternative could be something like this.
If certain female gamers can't enjoy a game unless the main character is also female, maybe games aren't for them. Most reasonable people don't care either way, as long as the game is fun then it doesn't matter.
It wasn't a new game. Incidentally, it wasn't even Chaotix. It was... Sonic & Knuckles.

As for your review of Rouge's Heroes model, if anything they added clothes and reduced her breasts from the SA2 model. I don't know exactly what kind of sex dolls you've been looking at, but it wasn't a very good comparison to draw.
