Hello, everyone. This is my first post on this forum. Anyway, I'm sure you guys know about the Michael Jackson and Sonic 3 thing and I also found out another song comparison aside from the ones Qjimbo pointed out in his video. I was inspired after I saw this video and decided to venture on to finding new "discoveries" about the controversy.
As I was looking for information, I came across a sample audio clip of one of MJ's hits: Black or White. I recognized the guitar riff during the actual song and it sound VERY familliar. Then it hit me that it sounded like Azure Lake from the 2P Competition stages. So I don't know if this is something someone else has found, but i didn't find it anywhere else on the internet. So i was just wondering what you guys thought of this.
Ahh that wiki link or whatever activated my java console. For me that thing takes alot of resources to run and won't go away unless you close Firefox.
Now not that I believe his story or not yet lets just make things alittle easier:
I don't hear any similarities. 
Besides, if I remember correctly Qjimbo said that the similarities he pointed out were found by chance and only afterwards came the discovery that MJ was supposed to make a soundtrack for Sonic 3; trying to actively look for any other similarities would be kinda forcing it..
This song is old enough to be put in the game. This song came out in 1991 as did "Jam". The similarities I hear are the guitar riff through out the song and the begninning of Azure Lake. And sorry bout the Wiki link.

The Michael Jackson thing is ages old, spanning back to last year at the latest. The Azure Lake/"Black or White" connection is one I've not heard tossed around before, however.

If anybody is curious to know, you can hear the updated songs found on the Sonic & Knuckles Collection, as well as the three new tracks for the last three stages on Sonic 3. The link is here. They give you two options of music: you can listen to the FM synthesizer, or the MiDi format. Sorry about the downloading process. It was the only one I could find.
