I work for Wal-Mart.
So is the heart of Wal-Mart really in the electronics section, somewhere near the TVs? Not that I plan on going there and destroying it or anything.... I'm just curious.
New York REALLY needs a Wal Mart.
cycle, i'm surprised your not on tv by now.
I don't understand. What does the simple act of being at Whistler and running into the Microsoft guys (who, incidentally, spend a lot of time there) have to do with being on television?
maybe you can be sega's future programmer when your older
No thanks.

Because I know I would spend money due to their irresistible low prices.

Heh, I guess that is a good reason; afterall, I bought a digital camera/webcam at a Wal-Mart in Kentucky (while visiting my grandmother) at the price of $20.85 tax and all. Not bad, methinks!

Thanks Duct; you, too!
What's Wal-Mart?
Sorry, I'm English.
Wal-Mart is a retail store here in the US (and Canada apparently) that has a saying of "Low prices, always" and honestly they aren't too bad. Plus, it's the largest retail store in the world if I'm not mistaken. You can find out more here.
Indeed Wal-Mart is almost a monopoly.
Y'know, I always thought Wal-mart was fictional. I've heard about it on cartoons, but I've never heard anyone actually say it was REAL...it's true what they say:you learn something new everyday
Wal-Mart also own the Asda chain here in the UK, Kimmy. You'll see their name in all of ASda's stores.
at least I get to see all of e3 on a dvd, but its not the same!
ps. I knew walmart and asda were the same, cuz the asda website takes you to an area of wal-mart and on the walmart website, you see all parts of the wal-mart chain.
Wal-Mart has a monstrous monopoly and usually causes every small business within 50 miles of each location to wither and die. A festering well of consumerism, they sell chinsy, Chinese-made, child-labour crap at rock-bottom prices. Like unsightly weeds, Wal-Marts usually crop up on the outskirts of town in industrial zones because it's cheaper to build there. Soccer moms flock to Wal-Mart in their gas-guzzling, smoke-belching SUVs because they'd rather save five cents on milk than support local business.
Apart from having their goods made by ten-year-old slaves and vapourizing anyone who dares to do retail business within driving range of one of their stores, Wal-Mart also draws scorn for their inferior treatment of employees. Here in BC, they take full advantage of the Campbell government's draconian $6/hour "training wage". Whenever an employee is hired, they put them on this pay for six months, and at this point instead of putting them up to $8, they just fire them. And in Qubec, when the employees of the Wal-Mart in Jonquire decided they were tired of being treated like crap and got unionized, Wal-Mart closed the store claiming that the location wasn't profitable enough. Soon afterwards, another Wal-Mart cropped up not four blocks away.
Basically, never do business with Wal-Mart.
Okay.....
I gotta admit. There are times where I feel like I'm a Stormtrooper. Working for an evil empire.
I work for AOL-Time Warner. Billing Department. You don't get much more evil than that
