Hahah you're telling me Veckums. Also...that 4th clue doesn't matter...it was an accidental clue. But dang these are really hard. I think...there should be a rule that like...tells which game it's from atleast after awhile. Like the Final Clue or something.
Since she said it I think it suggests what zone she was thinking of while posting, which can lead to the answer. The last clue means either Perfect Chaos, which doesn't make sense with the other clues, or some kind of boss that involves grabbing hold of a rail or whatever, and I can't think of any Sonic bosses like that.
Perfect Chaos is also Chaos 7, the battle has very simplified physics, and it's a final boss, but what does it have to do with lights or Knuckles?
Maybe this is a Game Gear boss?
Perfect Chaos does kinda make sense with those clues.
1) So many lights
Chaos's big laser breath, the lights on the cars on the ruined pieces of highway, take your pick.
2) Who turned off the physics?
You float on top of the water, even when standing still.
3) Knuckles isn't going to be happy
You're attacking the other guardian of the emeralds.
4)Hey, why does he have a 1-up and I don't?
Chaos has two phases.
5) I thought seven was supposed to be a lucky number.
7 Emeralds isn't so lucky when Chaos gets a hold of them and goes on a rampage.
6) Can't hold on much longer but I will never let go
Open Your Heart, the song that plays during the first half of the boss battle.
I kinda wish I'd written "The Tenth Element" now. A hint wrapped in a Bruce Willis movie reference, lolz!

Hahah! Yea...that would've helped for sure. Still though Neon...that was really neat. 😛 And wow...Perfect Chaos does seem to work...perfectly.
Mewtamer got it. It is Perfect Chaos.
Sorry about the ambiguous clues. For some reason, I thought I had made a redux of Name that Zone and I had given clues for Sonic 2 Beta's Hidden Palace Zone. I was lucky that the clues also worked for Perfect Chaos. Completely my fault.
Sorry again.
Ha! So were Gyser's explanations spot on or what?
Accidentally correct clues. How bizarre. Take it away, Jeffty.
1. ANOTHER ancient monstrosity?
2. 8 Rounds
3. This is too easy
Biolizard?
Sandopolis Zone Act 2, S3&K.
1) This boss shows up in an ancient pyramid, is designed to blend into the environment, but is definitely NOT ancient, hence the "?"
2) This boss goes down after eight hits
3) It's very easy to stop this boss using any of its attacks whatsoever, making it trivial to beat
Ha! Yea...you totally got that. 😛
THIS GAME IS A SHAM
xD! I so thought you got that too, man.
Not quite sure about 2 and 3, but one makes me want to say Solaris.
Solaris is incorrect.

That was the first thing I guessed, then I was like there is no boss there!
Gemel from Sonic Advance 3?
Actually, I think I've got this one:
Is it Egg Golem from Sonic Adventure 2?
1. ANOTHER ancient monstrosity? - He looks just like the Golem from Sandopolis Act 1
2. 8 Rounds - The ring that you traverse aroung the boss I believe has eight sections to it that can drop or fall away entirely
3. This is too easy - Well, its not a very challenging boss. And in Sonic's version a charged-up Light Speed Attack can do most of the work for you.
All wrong.
1. ANOTHER ancient monstrosity?
2. 8 Rounds
3. This is too easy
4. Going down into the inferno
2. 8 Rounds
2) This boss goes down after eight hits
That had better not be the answer to that clue becuase every (non-miniboss) boss fight took 8 hits in the Genny games. I've got my eye on you, Jeffyboy. 0o
I'm thinking Lava Reef Act 2.
1) Not a clue
2) You have to wait for Eggman to disappear and reappear from the lava
3) If you got a fire shield, you only have to stand and jump to avoid the bombs
4) Fought in a pit of lava
Not Lava Reef.
Perfect Dark Gaia
rock'em sock'em deities
yeeeeeeessssssss....
rock'em sock'em deities
yeeeeeeessssssss....
I was still too busy thinking "GATTAI! GO! GO! TEMPLEZORD!!" to even realise that reference.
rock'em sock'em deities
yeeeeeeessssssss....
Yesssss
D'oh, I forgot all about Sonic Unleashed. >=
Negative on Dark Gaia.
I honestly thought my clues would be easier than this.
*facepalm* Uhh... the crap-for-brains miniboss golem from Sandopolis Act 1?
Egg Dragoon >.>
Time for clue 5:
1. ANOTHER ancient monstrosity?
2. 8 Rounds
3. This is too easy
4. Going down into the inferno
5. 4 Hedgehogs
It's obviously from a more recent game since he says yet another. Iblis? Ifrit?
Veckums gets it. The correct answer was the Ifrit.
Explanation of clues:
1. ANOTHER ancient monstrosity?
By Sonic Rivals 2, someone unleashing an ancient monster had already become a cliché within the Sonic games.
2. 8 Rounds
Story mode requires you to defeat it with all eight playable characters.
3. This is too easy
If you die, you re-spawn instantly, the computer player cannot hit steal like the other bosses, and the time limit for defeating it is very lenient. S-ranking is not particularly hard either.
4. Going down into the inferno
The Ifrit is the boss of Chaos Inferno Zone, and you are in free fall for much of battle.
5. 4 Hedgehogs
You face the Ifrit as Sonic, Shadow, Silver, and Metal Sonic, and I think that this is a record for most hedgehog character that face the same boss.
Sonic Rivals 2 is not one of the eligible games though, probably because most have not played it. After I posted that I realized that it satisfied the 8 rounds clue.
This may be an easy question.
1. It is impossible to hit me in any way, no matter what attack you use!
2. I've got my eyes on you!
3. That's not a spring!
Flying Battery act 1 miniboss
You got it. You can't hit it and only it can hit itself, it looks at you to show where it's aiming, and the button looks like a spring and is even used as a spring with some other chambers. Clue I would have said next would be:
My zone is a lost zone from a previous game (Sonic 3).
1. Cannot be touched
2. Gathering rings won't do much good, not when you need speed
3. Wait.. this boss gets outside help?
Metal Sonic from Sonic CD.
1: Cannot be touched
If you're stupid enough to touch him, he's probably just going to zap you, and the boss battle is just a race, so it does nothing.
2: Gathering rings won't do much good, not when you need speed
Again, the real challenge is the race, so you need to be swift. Rings don't benefit you that much.
3: Wait.. this boss gets outside help?
Robotnik is constantly firing his death laser at you if you lag.
Yup. Your go.
This raises a good point - why didn't Fatass just fix that death laser and use it in Metallic Madness?
Idiot. XD
Very well.
1) That cerulean menace has interfered with my duties for the last time!
2) The song track to this boss is Latin for "new sails."
3) ABABABABABAB....
Sonic vs. Blaze, in Sonic Rush.
1) Blue hedgehog messing with her master emerald sol emeralds.
2) Vela-nova is the track to this fight.
3) BUTTONMASHBUTTONMASHBUTTONMASHGRRRRRR
EDIT: I'mma put my clues here for safe-keeping in case I'm right. Ignore them for now.
1. Jacks: YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG
2. What goes down must come up, to get here anyway.
3. If only Sonic had used fabric softener.
Got it in one, TTG. Your go.
Huzzah! Now to take my clues out of hiding and display them for the world to see! Admire them, planet Earth! Watch them sparkle!
(1.) Jacks: YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG
(2.) What goes down must come up, to get here anyway.
(3.) If only Sonic had used fabric softener.
EDIT:
*OMG NERD SQUEEEEEEEEE* #^_^#
Star Light Zone boss from Sonic 1, Mega Drive?
The boss of Carnival Night Zone?
Rapifire gets it.
1) As in, Jacks, the children's game? You bounce a *ball* and try to grab the jacks.
2) On the way to the boss, you fall down a shaft. Knuckles chuckles and hits a button, levitating you back *up* the shaft to Eggman.
3) Fabric softener eliminates *static* cling.
BTW, I typed this with the Wii's onscreen keyboard. It took FOREVER
1. I'm Dr. Gigglymen's jazzier half.
2. I come from a land down under...or at least, part of my attack pattern does.
3. Your reward for beating me is the last person you want to see right now.
Metal Sonic?
