What gender is nights? Does anyone know?
No one knows really. Some people say he's male (I think he is) Some think he's female. Some say both, like the Chao. Im pretty sure Sega never told us.
Nights really don't look like a female, I mean Woman have curly eye lashes and his faceal apperance look male-ish.
It been a whille sence i sceen a Pic of Him/Her/It. So I have to come to a good descriction.
NiGHTS is supposed to be genderless, but the U.S. version refers it as a he for simplicity, I guess.
The US manual refers to Nights as he,she or it. I think his gender depends of who he bond with. If is with Elliot he is a male and if is with Claris he is a female.
IIRC, the US manual doesn't actually use a pronoun for NiGHTS, so it's still ambiguous.
Sometimes this comes up in translations because, apparently, gender as a language feature is vey different in Japanese. Like when a certain character in FMA referred to a "her" but later on a certain other character suspected a male character of being the one talked about.
