Would anybody be interested in seeing a Nintendogs: Chao Edition? Admittedly, I don't care about Nintendogs, but if Sega were to create a chao game like Nintendogs, I would probably buy it. So, anybody think it would be interesting?
Then it wouldn't be Nintendogs, seeing as it'd be neither Nintendo, nor dogs.
Well, yeah, but it would have to be on the DS, maybe the Revolution, so Nintenchao could kinda work couldn't? I am sure, however, Sega could come up with a better title than I could anyway.
I don't see why Sega could not have a chao-raising game for the DS. It'd be perfect for people who love the adorable little things (like me).
I've been wanting a Chao World game since I first got SADX. I keep thanking that 48 Chao per memory card(and needing to switch games to raise them all) wasn't enough. I think the DS would be the perfect place for such a game. They could call it: Chao World DS.
As for what I'd want to see: The same system from SADX/SA2B with some added stuff, Compatiblity with the Tiny Chao Garden via the GBA slot(and hopefully direct compatiblity with SADX/SA2B)
If it means they won't be a mandatory thing for a proper game (Okay, so they weren't in Heroes or Shadow, but meh), then I'm game. Not that I'd get it, mind - it's just away of getting them away from me but still to everyone who wants to raise them.
Personally I find them to be horrifically irritating.
What's so irritating about them? They're so cute!!
Anyways...
There should also be some touch screen mini-games to earn rings to buy stuff for your chao, and maybe more than one chao garden, too (Hero, Dark, etc.), but not too many.
That's just my opinion anyway.
*raises hand* I'd buy it.
*raises both hands* i would too.
but only if the chao were much more advanced then they are now, such as interacting more with their surroundings and other chao. the only times i've seen chao notice each other was when they mated and if one of them was singing. (then again, i haven't played chao garden for as many hours as most people)
my main problem in the past was raising a chao with high enough stats, then loosing all that effort when it died. so i gave up and just bred interesting looking chao with the various animals. ^^;
Chao interaction has also been noted when one is plating an instrument or singing, then some chao nearby will sit down and 'listen' or dance...:P
Check it out!
I'd LOVE to get a game like that. ^^ A game focused on chao could have so much more interaction. OF course, I'd want there to be hero and dark chao, and chaos drives, etc... as I despise those neutral normal type chao. XD Also, animals and stuff would be good. But how would one get those things for the chao? *ponder*
Absolutely not.
I hate the little bastards, and the last thing they need is their own game.
What do you think is better?
A Sonic game with chao included, where raising them is mandatory to get all the emblems or a Sonic game without chao and a separate game (which you can just choose not to buy) focusing on chao?
That way you can actually choose whether you want to raise the little buggers or ignore them completely. =)
I myself would buy such a game if it came out, of course I'd need a DS first... =
I would re-buy a DS, for NintenChaos alone.
Are you listening out there? GIVE US MORE CHAO!

The Knuckles one is SOOOO adorable... **stares**
I might be doing the same sort of thing (White gloves, shoes ect.) with other Sonic characters in the new year. Well I wont be... Check out Fang's Trading post for Chao Commissions (which are closed for the year :D) by fangirl-of-anime. I also have the back pictures which i might put up. I hope my sister likes chao .
Chao Bottoms!
Some More Ahhhh
Some More CUTE!

I think it'd be fun if there was some sort of mini-adventure/RPG type thing in a chao game, too. You know, like Chao Adventure on the DC VMU or something.
Sounds good to me.
I know a lot of people abhor the little droplet thingies mostly becuase they didn't want to be forced to raise them. That's why giving Chao their own game is such a good idea. By having there own games, people who didn't like them could steer clear, while those who liked raising them (like me and quite a few others here) could play with them as much as they wanted. I'd snatch it up as soon as I could.
But remember, Nintendogs had one major flaw, it got old... fast. Hopefully by adding some kind of RPG element and/or minigames to collect animals and drives for your Chao will give the game more depth and replay value. I also think having the game on the portable systems is perfect, especially the DS (imagine petting your little Chao on the touch screen!)
If such a game was ever made, I'd like to see online interaction. Maybe like an international Chao Race/Karate. They could even possibly impliment a breeding center where two people get together and breed their Chao, a la real life dog and cat breeders.

Ewww...you cross species breeder.
OO
That would be a great idea. With the DS's Wi-Fi connectivity (I feel like I'm pitching it every time I say it!) it's very possible. Perhaps you could also trade items that way too.
Hopefully the Naka-san and the others at Sonic Team are looking at this thread and taking notes on it.
Anyways, those are good ideas, Kayla and Mimiichimu.
All these ideas make a possible chao game much better than that awfully boring Tiny Chao Garden in the Sonic Advance games.
