If i'm right There is Gold and Silver membership on Xbox live.
Gold is anytime, Silver is Free on weekends.

Eh, thats a mark against PSU for me. If I'm going to pay monthly there are two games on the horizone that look better than PSU.

Tempting. But on the other hand, the PC and PS2 version will be on the same server, which means more players. I'm currently aiming towards the PC version.

Although I'm still not sure what SEGA's plans are for PAL regions, so far there's no release date. If I'm able to pay for a license and play from outside America, then I'm importing. If not then = ;_;

I thought Xbox live silver was only free on special occasions?

Well it was finally announced for a Nov 24th release date in Europe, one month after the US release, and that the US/EU servers will be linked which is also a load off!

If it's also free to play here, then I guess I'll get this version since it seems to be the better looking one. I needed some more justification for buying a 360 anyway, besides Sonic. I just worry there wont be enough people playing on this one compared to the linked PS2/PC servers.

I wonder why its free only for the 360? Any way who cares aslong as I have a 360 and I won't have to bother with paying a monthly fee.

Maybe because Sega knows better (hopefully) then to make Customers pay twice.

Since we're already shelling out the bucks for XBox Live, if we had to pay for PSU as well, that would probably drive away a lot of potential gamers.

Actually I think this rumour that it's free has been debunked. It isn't free for Xbox 360 users in Japan... all four of them anyway.
