Wow, I just heard that Ep 64 (which aired in France today) is "Sonic vs. Shadow" and apparently Super Sonic and Super Shadow fight! Maybe the footage from the second Japanese opening for last season was intended to be used for this episode?

I'll have to retract my earlier statement. Having seen both #63 "Base of Mettarex" and #64 "Sonic Vs. Shadow", I can safely say that 64's quality, while not up there with the best Sonic X has to offer (26 & 58, for example), isn't quite as bad as it was made out to be. The only gripe is that the battle between Super Sonic and Super Shadow doesn't quite live up to its potential (they crash through some walls and throw a few punches). Par for the course.

Actually, episode 63 has the better team animating it: nice, fluid movement during the action scenes and sharp, on-model characters.

That was my thought exactly when I saw that. I noticed it even more when I played the episode slowly in order to make my regular summary and translation back there at the Moogle Cavern...

Just caught up with the latest subbed eps bringing me to episode 60.

I really enjoyed 58 and 59, to see Cream and Tails both flying in one ep does my heart good, especially as 58 was a Team Jubilee character building ep and had their fly formation and Team Blast

And Cream pwned the Monkey Metalex with Cheese

59 rocked because of Chaotix. Also like the way Cosmo accuses Sonic and Chaotix of being egotists when their testosterone contest is getting too out of hand.

Unfortunately, Ive STILL only seen 53, but thats having dial-up and your one source going *eck* for the time being!

Anyway, from screenshots & SRT files Ive looked at Cream seems much more active this time around. She's much more part of the team than before.

Also watch her hurl Cheese at foes!

This season is awesome... 12 episodes and no bad episode, unlike the first season. ^^

I watched #64 and didnt see ANYTHING strage withe the animation, just the 2 scenes with Sonic vs. the Metarex wasnt perfectly draw, but the animations was very fluent. And I liked the Super Hedgehogs part.

I cant wait for #65 to #78! @_@

So new Sonic X has started up again, this episode see's the Chaotix stop by for some random repairs. And Vector is suddenly obsessed with getting Tails and Cosmo together, with all sorts of wacky hijinx involved, one of which is Vector prophesizing a fantasy meeting between Tails and Cosmo featuring the best image of Tails ever:

At the end of the ep Tails and Cosmo are all smitten and whatnot. So, if Furry couplings caused you a headache before, Fox-boy and Plant-girl?

How exactly did Japan not end up getting these new episodes first? I've noticed that Jp. screens are pretty much impossible to come by right now. Not that I'm complaining or anything (heck, I still gotta see the rest of the first series ), just really curious. Any ideas? Or did I make a wrong observation? <<;

Those shots made me laugh for a good hour...oh boy...that look for Tails is pretty sweet but a fox and a plant girl...er...well it could work...

BIG Surprise for episode 67

What. The. Hell.

I thought the 'new' intro was the surprise Solly mentioned (Sonic Drive sung in french + 2nd Japanese opening = WHOAH), but the way episode 67 ends is completely out of left field.

In a nutshell:

We all had to see this one coming though...come on...in almost all the series, the good guy has to take a turn down the dark path sometime...shocking yes, shockingly cool in a way...maybe...thank goodness Sonic doesn't look like Anankin in Ep. 3...

It could be the same 'anime' effect we've seen with Knuckles in #3 and Amy in #52, establishing extreme anger (an anime staple). Though this time there seems to be more to it than that.

Holy crap; didn't see that coming! O_o

Though, guess it is about time that things've gotten at least a little darker.

Also, Chaos' method of absorbing the emeralds comes to mind....

Hmmm... They did play Chaos' music theme right around then as well.

Man, they're really pushing this Tails/Cosmo thing, aren't they?....And my God, his head is huge in that second screen.

Though, it is kinda neat that the animators seem to be exploring various styles like this, even if they are just fantasy sequences (well, I'm assuming that one is a fantasy sequence...either that or someone's stoned as heck ...)

Interesting.A Dark Sonic, Tails and Cosmo (here hoping they end up like Kim and Ron from " So the drama" movie) and Shadow get a new human girl to be angst about. Look like this season keep getting better and better.

Im glad this new season has more plot than the old one, they're coming up with better ideas to make it more interesting. The creators must have given out surveys to the people to ask what they want and thats just what they got.

Well, it's assumed he's stabbed. We see no visible wound, only something that looks like a fleck of blood splatter against a white background. He magically feels better by the end of the ep.

Darn! I was hoping he'd die...oh well...

Nope. No death until ep 68...

Okay...they bring her around for a few episodes then axe her...so that means they'll bring her back for Season 3 just like Shadow!

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm skeptical about them deciding to give Tails a permanent love interest. I think at the least she'll leave.
