I found myself linked to this user on Youtube and I have to say, there are some outstanding things in here, things I never could have imagined. Have a look at Lava Reef 2/Hidden Palace for some amazing examples, apparently you can have Eggman steal one of the Super Emeralds instead of the Master Emerald in Hidden Palace--- AND use the Super Emerald during cutscene to enter a special stage --- AND exit that special stage in another (Knuckles for instance) save file.
Seriously, this is just the most fascinating series of videos I've seen in months.

I've actually seen some of these videos before a few months ago, but there's some new ones now.
I couldn't help laughing at the Sky Sanctuary video. His comment's correct. The zone really fraggin' hates Tails.
