I was at my local thrift store, and guess what I found? 2 SEGA "Pico"s!!!!!!!!11 Yeah, I had never seen one, in real life or even in a picture, so when my mom pointed them out I was in shock! The were kinde like the predecessor the "LeapPad" of our day. One had nothing in it, and the other had a Book and some kind of Drawing pad in it. I will return tomorrow, hopefully with pictures.
Cool. Your sig's way too big though.
I measured 275 pixels on a screen 1024x768 big. I think it's just fine.
As for Picos, I don't think they're all that rare... though either way it's not like you'd WANT one.
I seem to collect to many Sega related hardware (as my parents put it).
I've got a boxed Sega Pico that I managed to get for a couple of quid a few months ago. It game with 3 or 4 software books. I may upload pictures of it at some point, if I get the time.
In the mean time, here is a picture of my Sega Mega-Tech, a bit rarer than a Pico:
You're right SH. Coulda sworn the limit was 250.
However, if your sig is larger than your post you're supposed to uncheck the sig box.
*Looks at picture of Sega Mega-Tech*
...ho..ly...crap.... What is that and where did you get it? That is awesome!
Wow... I've seen (and played) several NES 10 Select's, I didn't even consider there might be a Master System equivalent. That's so dang awesome.
I thought it was Genesis equivalent, though.

It's even better than that. It's both a Mega drive (Genesis) and Master system equivalent in one .
I managed to get mine with 9 games, including Shadow Dancer , Parlour Games , World Champ Soccor , Super Monoco GP, Ghouls & Ghost , Mystic Defender , Shinobi , Streets of Rage and Columns. I'm still looking for the Sonic The Hedgehog and Sonic The Hedgehog 2 game cartridges.

That means its as good as a genesis but can play master system games as well I take it????
It plays both Mega Drive and Master system games, as long as they are on the special Mega-Tech carts.
Hey.... what the heck is a Sega Pico?...
What IS a Pico? It isn't anything like Pico from Newgrounds is it?
...It isn't, is it?
Sega console designed for young 'uns. Might have a touchscreen, too, not sure. Either way it's really not much for us old 'uns.
(Boxed UK Sega Pico)
(Sega Pico, open with Ecco game)
I have yet to return to the thrift store, so I found some pictures online.
Unfortunatly, I can't get the image tag to work, so, I'll just send you here, where I got them. It's a pretty cool site with pictures of all sorts of platforms, many that I've never seen before.
EDIT: Oh thanks, MC, you musta posted that while I was typing this.

Reminds me of the Power Base Converter, when used with a model 1 Genesis can allow you to play Master System games. I've actually seen a few of those on ebay, at a very reasonable price as well.
There's also the Mark III Adapter, that can be used with a model 2 Genesis or even a CDX (Genesis and CD console all in one, actually quite small), though those seem to be a bit rarer, as they have rarely popped up on ebay.

You're sitting in front of the largest information resource in the history of mankind, and yet you still need to ask people on a message board what a Pico is. Unbelieveable.
I've never seen or even heard of a Pico, but my friend has one of those Mega-Techs, still in good working order^^
Apparently the place where he used to work (programming games for the Game Boy Advance) had a load of them in the basement and when they shut down they were just going to tip them, so he took one before they could lol.
