Check out the past few updates on the Sonic Stadium.(We're allowed to refer to other Sonic sites here, right?) One update says while on a trip to Sega's building they discovered something that they don't want us to go red over because they haven't said what it was. Reading this I actually thought a Knuckles game was what they were hinting at. But now,In the newest update they've told us to not Scrape our Knuckles trying to figure it out...
Now, unless they are building this up to be an April Fools Joke announcement, this looks like something is in the works involving our little red Echidna friend...
I'm not buying it. It's probably jsut to lend credibility to an eventual April Fools announcement.

Though, if the Knuckles solo game were true, then I have a feeling that it would be a cheap cash-in that doesn't do the character justice no matter how die-hard Knuckles fans would say otherwise and to fund Sega as a whole for the actual good games they make.
It would be a sad day to see a game staring my favorite character become a quick cash-in for Sega. Knuckles deserves a lot better. However, if the game was good, then it would be awesome!

I can't picture a Knuckles game, at least not anymore. Lately, SEGA seems to have taken away Knuckles' "cool character" status and given it to Shadow. Now, Knuckles is little more than comic relief. Sad, really.

A Knuckles game would be great! It could actually help Knuckles's character although I have no problem with his character.

And here I thought they'd been trying to make Knuckles more "cool" since Sonic Adventure.
Because, you know, having rap music makes you cool.
It's possible, but you must admit, his whole "loner"-aspect has been dwindling ever since Sonic Heroes.
Does he even still guard the Master Emerald?

Actually, if this game is real, I feel that they might have raised a question in his Sonic Riders profile to be answered in his game, by saying he guards the Master Emerald "For reasons he himself doesn't understand."
Another Knuckles solo game is very unlikely, even though Knuckles Chaotix was a good game, the console it was on sucked and that led to the game's miserable failure.
Besides Knuckles isn't as popluar as he was 11-12 years ago, if SEGA were to make a new Knuckles game it would not sell despite the fact it would be a cheap marketing cash-in.
But They could make another Miles solo game since Tails Adventure was a sleeper hit. That's a possiblity.
The chances of a Tails game seem MUCH more unlikely than a Knuckles game...Tails was never in huge popularity, especially these days..in fact it seems more likely they would make a Metal Sonic game just because the whole *evil, dark* thing worked out..
I know this is off topic but has anyone else noticed that Metal Sonic has always been quite popular with gaming journalists?
Hmm... If it wasn't probably an april fool's joke, then I hope Knuckles get's his own little action game. Wouldn't it be nice to see him wandering around Angel Island (and the Mystic Ruins possibly) to find out more about himself and the echidna tribe? Maybe a reappearance of Tikal and Pachamac(sp?)?

edit: on topic: i doubt such a game owuld be excuted in a manner of high quility by sega.they'd probaly make it a fighting game.
Well, the stadium has revealed the "game" today on April 1st. "Knuckles DS". And some screens of the DS playing the game are shown. Personally, I'm pretty sure it's April fools.

I'm not convinced, even if I do think the screens look great.
Here's hoping it is real, but I'm not gonna jump to conclusions.

And of course you know if Knuckles got a game, people would complain about it not being "Sonic-y" enough. It always happens. 
If Tails stars in another game, then he better be able to go faster than 'happy little stroll'.
Sleeper hit is an oxymoron. Sleeper hits are succesful games that got none to little advertising or hype but still became huge sellers, like Katamari Damacy or Animal Crossing.
