Me like chao! ^_^
This is a topic where chao ideas are posted and discussed. Any idea/thought/opinion on chao should go here, I guess.
Since it has been reported that Sonic Heroes WON'T have chao gardens (as of so far), and I doubt there will be a chao only game, the comments on chao can refer to chao in general, or on what should be included on the next game that might contain chao.

I for one thought it was a bad idea to create colors of chao that can only be accessed via GBA. Since my opinion on a chao is based on physical appearance, rather than skills and functionality, I've always wanted a clear colored chao, but have been unable to obtain it. I also think that prices for items in the Black Market are too high. Coupled with the fact that the items reset all the time means it is very difficult to get a specific egg you want if you do not have the money for it at the time that it first appears. Items should either stay permanently, or their should be easier ways to obtain 20000 rings (ie. betting, minigames, winning races, etc.)
I'd like more animals for each type, and maybe one or two entirely new categories. The abilaty for chao to dive and swim underwater would also be nice.
I also think the Black Market should have items to boost certain chao abilaties. For instance... say like a hang-glider, that a chao pulls out in the race to make it fly a *little* bit faster and farther. Or a surfboard, that brings your chao across the water (without your chao floundering around to waste time) until it falls off, and then has to continue swimming normally. Items like boxing gloves could help in chao karate, or things like martial arts Coloured Belts could be used to teach new techniques, like flying drop kick, wind up punch, triple kick, head butt, etc.
I'd also like to have more control over my chao's actions in th actual race.
