Ok, at first, I was a little hesitant to post this, but anyhow, feel free to move/lock this if this gets out of hand.

2003. Pre-Sonic Heroes release. At that time, only bits of the game's theme songs were heard on SoA's SH site. At first, it was thought that there were only going to be 5 themes in the game, but soon afterwards, Wavemaster revealed a sixth theme with the track listing of the vocal album.

When I first heard the beta version of "What I'm Made Of," I instantly knew that this was Super Sonic's theme and that he was going to be in SH. So I assumed it was. Then, the real version was ripped by Sonic CuLT onto the net. As soon as I knew it, the song now basically screamed SS.

Now SH was finally released in the US. I battled all the way to the last story of SH, confirming my suspicions that SS really was in the game...but only for the final boss. (Gah.) As soon as Team Super's battle with Metal Overlord starts, WIMO suddenly starts playing in the backgroud.

Now, despite some people here, IMO, the Metal Overlord battle was the best of all three 3d final battles. You do a bit more than what was in SA and SA2's final battles. Perfect Chaos was a bit hard and not fun, same goes to the FinalHazard, except it was too easy. MO, however, was fun.

Now, to the point. After I beat the game, I went to the Sound Test to hear WIMO...only to find it labeled "Metal Overlord." Weird...but I ignored it afterwards.

Now, as the months pass by, I kept on hearing people saying WIMO is the theme of Metal Sonic...while others say that its SS/Team Super's. I was confused. How is it Metal's theme? Sure, it plays in the battle with him, but the lyrics don't fit him at all.

So I made up an analysis to show that its Super's. Yes, I do realize that Wavemaster's site simply labels it as "the song for the final battle." But IMO, a song has to reflect something; otherwise it wouldn't be a song. Yes, in my words, Knuckles' stage music in SA2 can count as his themes as well.

Anyway, you can see my analysis here: sonicstarh.deviantart.com...l/3717077/

Later on, though, I posted this at SoaH City. As soon as I knew it, I pretty much started a debate in there. It went well for a while, until a flamer jumped in and ruined it, saying that we shouldn't debate over a song. I sent a PM to him, telling him to shut up. But he posted my PM in the topic. So I had to get a mod to delete the topic.

So, uh, what do ya'll think? In your opinion, is it Super's theme or Metal's? Or is it just a song put in there to pump the final battle up, for neutrality's sakes?
