Well, here's my two cents.
Sonic 06 had crappy animations. Really didn't seem very impressive.
Now that we have stated the obvious, let's got into the actual important things...

Sonic 3 i simply could NOT figure out how to get tails to flipping pick me up. Gosh i hate him now...
Megaman Zero 1, 2 and 4 (I haven't played 3 yet.)
For the most part i loved using cheat codes and dashing about the stage slashing the crap out of... well, everything. I wish i could destroy my allies too...

Three man teams get boring. Would be more fun if there was just one person at a time and i could switch at will... Final boss was awesome. It took me about a month to get that song and it's totally worth it. 
I personally thought it was very fun.

Hah, I remember the Knuckles fight. What you've got to do is to practice against Sonic or Tails until you get one of their Runs and then just spam Knuckles between running away from him. Any attack will do. You just need to run away from him, heal until you're flashing, and OHKO him. You can even do this with the default attacks.

I imported Last Window (the Hotel Dusk sequel) from Europe. (When CING went out of business, it became likely the game would never be localized to the US.) It arrived in time for my birthday. I haven't gotten really deep into the mystery yet, but it's been fun so far. Anyone who liked the first one but found the final mystery underwhelming, you'll like this one.

Fun block-based building game with weapons to spare...
Demo is free, but the full game is very worth the 20 bucks.
Most of the community are douches but it's interesting once you get a good band of friends...

Well, I just bought an SM58 microphone so I can perform live as soon as I get a Digitech Jamman loop pedal for Christmas.. At $120 its a great price for such a high quality mic. Although I'm a little disturbed by a warning buried in the manual that says there's a chemical in it known to the state of California for causing cancer and birth defects. :/ So my opinion's a little mixed.
I'll be calling their customer service line tomorrow to find out if I run the risk of death if I sing through it.

Decree: If it's in South Island, it has to deal with South Island topics. That means Sonic games, Sonic Team, and most things related to Sega in general. Otherwise TC should clarify what this thread is about so it can be moved to a more appropriate place.

My review of this thread.
The thread at first seems random and superfluous to the actual topics that are suppose to be held in this forum. Despite this, upon reading of the first post it becomes clear that this does have something to do with Sonic video games...kind of...unfortunately the views held in the "reviews" are either common thought and anecdotes that have been told many times or random thoughts on something. By the end of the first post I can only ask myself why? However for the sake of the review I continue on.
The next poster seems to try and salvage the Sonic bits from the "reviews" and turn them into a manageable topic, after that fails he decides to go along with the random topic. Unsurprisingly, I was not the only one to wonder what this was doing in a forum about Sonic games, another poster asks the exact same thing adding an XD so as to not be misconstrued as an ass (perhaps I should put one at the end of this.)
Another poster tries to clarify what topics should go where but it is too late, the damage is done. Another poster comes by to review another random item (or "Crap" as the title tell us) but seems to feel guilty upon realization that the thread is, in fact, in the Sonic Games section. The next poster makes a decree that is essentially just restating the already obvious rules. The original poster returns from their hiding to make an appeal that they just wanted discussion and then proceeds say the word discuss four times in a row. The thread ends with a picture and the original poster asking if anyone else has good reviews (Wait...good? This is suppose to be "Review Random CRAP!)
All in all, this thread seems like one big joke between friends, and perhaps it is but it begs the question. Why is it still in the Sonic game forum!!
