Not entirely sure why Mike Oldfield's Portsmouth appeared to be playing in the background the whole time, mind you. I may never hear that track in the same light again. I think "Heaven's Open" (fly right in!) would have been more appropriate

They goofed up a little toward the end. Shadow wound up saying Sonic's line ("I'm going to destroy everything! Havaar!"), and Sonic one of Tails' ("But we saved the day!").
Other than that, it was fine.

And, by the way, the Sonic quote at the end was meant to be Sonic, it's not a take off Tails speach, it's deliberately SOnic, and he does say something very simmilar to it when he reveals Shadow is dead....
I dont think they included Tails HORRIBLE speach because they were having so much fun only having Tails in his "I must save ......" quotes in that machine...

Nope, I think you're dead wrong. Why? The voice changes.
You see (or hear), "I'm going to destroy everything! Havaar!" is said in a VERY different voice from Shadow's immediately following "What are you?" line, or just about any OTHER line he says in the clip, while the voice sounds mostly like Sonic's "I'm fluff-" line. Seeing as Sonic's the onlt other character there to say the line, logic dictates it should be him saying the line. Besides, it's what Sonic was going to do, too, only HE was going to destroy everything Eggman'd been setting up, while Shadow was going to nuke a country. Still "destroying everything", technically.
And that can't be Sonic saying "But we saved the day!", simply because his voice changes at that point. I don't think Sonic's going to suddenly hit puberty... er, backwards, and get higher-pitched, so it has to be somebody else. And frankly, it sounds kinda like Tails.
So there, I've supported my argument, and while I can't make you agree, hopefully you can at least see where I'm coming from.
Shadow-"I killed it...no i haven't, it's going to (?) to earth...buckets"
Sonic-"Let's power up and kill it!"
Shadow-"Okay"

Nope. I just watched it and the voices ARE SOnic's and Shadow's. You gotta listen carefully, but it is Shadow who says "I'm going to destroy everything! HAVARR!" The same guy did all the voices, so you both fail. =) It's likely he just screwed up his tone of voice.

It's much more likely the person animating the Flash misinterpreted who was saying what. Frankly, I think the person making the audio would know his own thing better than the Flash animator.

But I dont reckon that was quite enough of a change to fit Sonic's voice... And it just fits better for it to be Shadow going "I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING", it's too general for it to be Sonic...

Except it doesn't. Shadow has a low, gruff voice for all of his lines, but the "havaar" line definitely is neither low nor gruff.
It's not quite pronounced hip enough to be Sonic's either. Might not be gruff but it's definitely not light, could of just been showing that destroying everything IS the one thing Shadow has an interest in???
And it DOES make more sense for him than Sonic to say it...

I don't know any real easy way to just rip it off the flash, but if you have Windows XP, open up Windows Movie Maker and record the Stereo mix or the line out. That should get you a decent recording, granted you don't do anything else for the next two minutes...
