Well, there goes Sonicteam.they still work on SOnic projects and such, they are just grouped with everyone else. No one is fired, that is good, just the Sonicteam name is gone.

Edit: Gah! Link doesn't work.
just copy it into the address bar.
And now it should work without having to do all that. (EDIT: fixed broken link.)
Quite frankly, I don't see the big deal.
Since nobody was fired then this shouldn't cause any problems at all. It's basically like this: they reordered the development teams.
Certain people who are working on a certain project get in a different group. So the people working on projects for consoles get in their own group. The same can be said for the Arcade hardware and the specialty entertainment machines.
The Sonic Team name might be gone but that definitely won't stop anybody on working on future Sonic projects and the like.
Still, "Presented By SEGA Global Entertainment" doesn't quite carry the same feel as "Presented by SonicTeam".
Is anybody else getting a feeling of deja vu?
Sports Design R&D Dept. (Headed by Takayuki Kawagoe [Panzer Dragoon]): Working on baseball titles for Japan.
dose that mean Takayuki is the guy who made panzer dragoon?
if he is, then he should be in charge of arcade shooters not baseball, that's boring(and a waste for his skills).
other than that, i think it's a good plan.
more organized<too bad about sonic team's logo, i liked it a lot, it had sonic>.

May you please explain what do you mean by that quote? I need to be enlightened.
This has kind of happened twice already. Like when SEGA took all of it's subsidiary companies back into itself. Or when SEGA and Sammy became one. And when those two things happened, everybody got all sentimental and sappy about nothing in particular, when in reality what was happening was really quite good. BASTA.
My point exactly.
Sure, I'll miss that little "Presented by Sonic Team" logo but as long as they continue to make games I'll be happy.
and I agree with you too.
