- 'True Blue' was the collection of music of world famous blue hedgehog, Sonic. And 'True Colors' will be the compilation CD featuring theme songs for characters of the world of Sonic the Hedgehog.
I do hop True Colours has more in the way of the Angel Island remake from True Blue. "Sonic 3D Boss 2" would be nice.
Yeah... it really depends on what's new on the second 'Best of'. I already own the soundtracks (both OSTs and vocal albums where applicable) of every modern Sonic game, so if there's little or no new content I think I'll just save my money. Thanks for the info though John, I like to stay up to date on this kinda stuff.

Considering that only a very small minority of the theme songs are not awful, that does not sound promising.

Gamma's Theme (SA) (not a song technically)
E. G. G. M. A. N. (SA2) (better for the lyrics than the tune, gets annoying after about a minute)
Team Chaotix (SH)
Team Dark (SH)
Team Rose (SH) (better for the tune than the lyrics)
His World (SN) (great instrumental, but terrible with the singing)
Dreams of an Absolution (SN) (probably the only song that is unqualified good, written by a fan and OC Remixer, naturally)
BTW, I recently heard the song "A New Venture." The part that actually runs during the title screen goes like this:
