Taller surely? I thought he was the same size as the kids in SA (well, Sonic was and Shadow is roughly the same size as Sonic) which would but them between 3 to 4 feet tall.

I hate to nitpick over two inches, but Sonic (and Shadow)'s height is clearly stated as 3'2'' in several places. His Sonic X flashcard even says 100 cm, which does not equal an exact three feet but comes out to 3.2 rounded off.
Anyway, I'm glad to see Rouge in what looks like her classic costume. I wasn't hugely fond of the Heroes design. I wonder if the Chaotix will show up in the same manner as Sonic, Knuckles and Rouge have been shown to... it'd seem a lil odd to have Charmy trailing after Shadow, leaving a path of destruction. =P Maybe it'd just be Espio and perhaps Vector.

Yeah, but I interpeted the question there to be:
Will they be second players, following Shadow around and attacking enemies (AKA, what Sonic, Knuckles and Rogue are doing in the videos) or will they just be present in a cut scene?
That reminds me...Everything I've seen so far of the partners points to them having the same AI as Tails in S2 onward. Just follow the player around. I'm not sure why, but I don't like it. Meh. Maybe a second player will be able to take control of them...That could be alright. It'd suffer from the whole one screen thing like before, though. Hm.

Why, wouldn't it make any sense? I'm sure the Chaotix wouldn't like the idea of an alien invasion any more than the other characters would, and I'm sure they'd be willing to fight them for free. The scenario may very well be that Shadow is in the Chaotix's neck of the woods, and when they see him, they decide to help Shadow navigate around the town or something like that.
Nah, the Chaotix wouldn't just help Shadow. If anything, Shadow would have to end up paying the Chaotix.
Seriously, this really reminds me of an RP I did. It included practically all of this but instead of a greater focus on Shadow it was on Knuckles. Weird. o.o

Play.com have been given a cover for the PS2 UK release, no idea if this is the final one or not but, as I said, it is interesting to look at.
But strangely enough they DONT have a cover for the Gamecube...

I hope you won't just switch from hero to villian and then back to a hero so suddenly like this:
You killed more humans than aliens so Sonic (or whoever) ditch you and you join the aliens
Next level you killed more aliens than humans so the aliens ditch you and rejoin Sonic who seemed to have forgotten about you killing humans.
Oh, and if one of the endings involves:
Sonic dying
Aliens taking over the planet
Eggman taking over the planet
If one these endings(especially the first one) occur that is definitely NOT the true ending

Very likely. it's become some sort of trend for there to be an unlockable last story section with super forms. Ugh.
I still want the ability to play as the Super Form on any level, you know like where you could reach unreachable areas and stuff like that...
Well you know Sega/Sonic Team doesn't seem to like their surprising numbers of loyal fans that are left and have fond memories of reaching Super/Hyper allowing them to go crazy in the levels. Oh well it's always a nice thought.....

My brother and I were talking about this game on Saturday. He asked a couple questions, like:
Will you be able to rival with GUN? (probably not)
Will you be able to hijack and pilot military units?
Where ARE Black Arms? In a spaceship or what?
Also, does anyone have any DETAILED info on GUN's role in the game?

if you work with ppl like the Black Arms (and maybe Eggman) then you'll be going up against GUN.

it's been confirmed that Shadow will be able to ride a GUN motorbike and a GUN military Jeep...but we do not know if he earns these by hijacking or by gaining GUN's trust. it's probably both since with the guns you can steal them from soldiers or find them in crates.

In the intro video we see a red portal looking thing form in the sky and Black Arms creatures coming out of it. it's not known if that was just them beaming down from their ship or teleporting from their planet.

at this point no. all we know is that GUN is trying to stop the Black Arms from taking over the planet.

It IS known, though, that Black Arms definitely have a planet. Mainly because, as I recall,

I also dont like the idea about "multiple endings", because, in previous games, like Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic Adventure, sure they had different stories, but they had one ending, so it was easy to make a sequel, and understand what is going on in the actual story. Whereas if they make a sequel, Shadow the Hedgehog 2, or the next Sonic game, they would have to choose which ending is the right one. I'd rather ask what he's doing hanging around with freaking KNUCKLES. BACK TO THE ALTAR. RAR. Apparently, Shadow will have a different mindless AI ally in each level, so Tails is indeed a possibility. He could be stationed in a section of the world under attack and him and Shadow work together to give the black arms the finger.
