In case anyone's interested in a potentially sarcastic review before the game comes out, I believe the channel G4's X-Play series will be detailing Shadow tomorrow night. The first show with Shadow in it will be at, I believe, 10:00 pm, though G4 will undoubtedly replay it ad nauseum.
I'm not much of a rental person, personally. But do video-games that are newly released (like day-of release) tend to be rentable on the day they are released? (My grammar sucks. ;-

But anyway, Tuesday's SHIPPING DATE. Don't expect the game until a few days later. I don't think it'll be that huge a seller that you won't be able to find copies, period, but I've been wrong before.

So... Shadow is out today in America. I've read on Australian game sites that it comes out November 25th. I'm so annoyed at that.

That car looks to be about the right size. I mean modern large cars are snug for someone 6 feet tall, surely a compact car wouldn't be to much bigger then Shadow's car.
Swift, there aren't even any OFFICIAL reviews out yet, disregarding unofficial ones...
I'm expecting something from 6-7, myself. The kind of scores that the 3D games have gotten lately - OKAY, but really not great.
Or worse. I wouldn't mind it, something to turn Sonic Team off from ever doing something this extreme again.

UK Advert was aired in between The Simpsons on Sky One a moment before I type this. It's longer than the US one, but nothing special. Just a deep voice saying how the world is in peril and only one force can save the world hero or villain YOU DECIDE! Nothing dramatic.
Shows CGI shot of Black Arm falling from sky then hitting car, then Shadow pumping his machinegun, random gameplay shots then the red aura explosion.
I'm suprised we even GOT an advert. Let alone one aired at a time people will see it.
I aint hoping for a full review just yet...

Spoilers (Select To Read): Well thats five of the endings revealed! There must be like a good version and a bad version of each of the endings or something. So your either SA2 Shadow, Alien, Weapon, Android or NOTHING. Wowness.

The font size for the text has been incresed by 1 or 2 px. Also, there's no longer an automatic second line after the white spoiler text. It's probably becuase it now uses span style instead of font and table.

I just looked on the offical site, and they have updated the levels and screenshots. There are some cool looking levels there. With the screenshots, look at screen number 19/59, and look who's there....

The one I found very interesting is The Doom level. Expecially because of a certain female character that appears. I hope is not one those protection missions where you have to make sure the character doesnt die. Always hated those bloody mission in games.

Oh, and Central City is now a 3D stage! It was an area in Sonic Battle! That means Sonic Battle really is a part of the Sonic Adventure Series, even if it is GBA! ALL RIGHT!!!!!!!(etc) I always thought his arena being the Highway was a nod to the Radical Highway.
Although we're still not entirely sure when it happens, of course...

I've found several reviews...
Ranging right from 1 which went for a 3 out of 10 (they said that they hated Sonic Adventure, giving it 5 of of ten back then and that was about 8 years ago) and the highest score being about 8.9 out of ten...
Most seem to be from a6.8 to 8.7... They all agree it's a good game, but despite being interesting and an improvement over heroes they dont think it has an air of "greatness."...
Generally I think, it comes down into 2 categories:
- Did they like the Sonic Adventure games?
- Do they care about Shadow's story?
Generally sites that said yes to both gave the game about 8.6, 8.8 out of ten... sites that said yes to one but not the other went from between 6 and 7....
Sites that said no to both, one in particular gave it 3 out of ten...
Still, every Sonic game needs controversy... But i dont want official reviews, I want a PLAYER who is ON THIS SITE just to log on and post saying;
"Yeah, it's decent, I'm enjoying it more than Heroes..."
or
"I prefered SA1, that's still the best 3D sonic game so far, but yeah... not bad..."
or...
"BRILLIANT, I LOVE SHADOW!!!! Thought it'd be crap but, IT WASN'T!!!!!!"
or... sadly, even...
