Just a fair warning.I have to say, this is the most awesome cinema scene, not to mention, ending to ANY Sonic game that I have EVER seen.
Griffith does an amazing job as Sonic, espeically when he's pissed. Erazor's voice is odd, but I think it fits with the cheeseball nature of the game perfectly. And Bella Huddson, as usual, does a wonderful job of the female lead as Shahra.

Oh, I want so bad to click that, but I do not want to see the ending before I even get to play the game. Is there any clips of Erazor's voice along with little or no spoilers.

Spoilers: Spoilers (Select To Read): Umm, what? You have silver sonic, mecha sonic, then metal sonic. You have shadow popping up, then all these shadow androids and mephiles. Now by the look of things they're going to pull a fleetway and by the next game Sonic's probably going to have to face this dark spine sonic so there's going to be ANOTHER Sonic clone. All they need now is that stupid evil Sonic from some other timeline then Sonic can beat Elvis for having the most dopplegangers.

Thanks, Toby! I must say Erazor's voice is pretty bad; a character like Erazor seems like he needs a more deeper voice. His voice kinda reminds me of a softer GUN Commander, and yeah, the music wasn't that great either, but by gum the scene looked epic.
As far as Erazor's voice goes, I think it goes rather well with the cheeseball nature of the game, and his rideculous demeanor. I think taking it too seriously would have ruined this.
Still, I say it would be better if it was deeper; it could be deeper and still not be too serious

Edit- Also Nintendo Power was wrong about Big the Cat not appearing in the game. Has anyone found Shadow, Silver, Blaze and Cream in story mode?
Does this mean characters are also hidden during gameplay? Could they throw us all for a loop and hide a lost sonic character that way as an easter egg?

i could have sworn i heard usopp in this game when sonic is pissed off griffith uses the usopp tone.. very nice griffith, this is probably the one of the best voice acting ever, in my opinion and thats saying something since im not really a fan of the 4kids voices. erazor's voice sounds familiar but I really cant put my finger on it..

Yeah. That line was pretty cool. But the lines right after that were pretty cheesy.
They're more than made up for by the awesomeness immediately preceding them.
Boy, i'm barely anywhere in this game, but it's rocking. I love it. I got the wristban and a Sonic Plusihie w/ my copy. I feel special. =) Check out my post in Photoexchange. And yea the jumping will take a while and Erazor's voice should be way more kick@$$. Oh well. Game is leading on to be my favorite 3D Sonic title I believe. =)

Man, the bosses in this game are the best ones in a Sonic game yet. They're actually fun to fight!My favorite is the Sand Oasis monster with a giant eyeball with fangs in his backside with a scorpion-like body. Crazy!!
K, I just finished Dino World-which was great. Loved the views and running down a ...well its not a Saltasaur, but I'm too tired to think what kinda sauropod that was......back was just funny to me.
I'm still having trouble with the jump button however. I made sure not to advance too quickly in this game, with all the missions and all, but honestly... that is not working out for me. I must have got hit like 50 times by those cacti in that stage. I have the movement scheme down with the Wiimote-jump just feels laggy.
<< I'm hoping there's a powerup that makes it a bit simpler...
Otherwise-YAY reached next stage. Not even really caring about finding stuff yet lol.

Spoilers (Select To Read): Honestly, I don't know why people are complaining about Darkspine. It is clearly an idea taken from Sonic X (or vice versa) and I honestly thought that "Dark Sonic" was a nice touch. It certainly makes one stop and ponder about Sonic's past and future, and it really makes him a little more complex. Which I like, since darker versions of characters can certainly add some things to plot and gameplay (like, imagine if Sonic had a RPG-like stress bar in the next game, you can't let it go down to zero or you become EVIL!!111 and kick kittens and be more primal and stuff).
This is unlike Shadow, IMO, because he only has three emotions - angst, more angst and MARIIIAAAAA. Enough said.
For some reason I thought the game was going to be very glitchy, but so far it has been holding up very well.
To really get a good feel for Sonic, beat as many missions as possible to get more upgrades. The more upgrades you get, the easier it is, to get Sonic to do what you want when you want. I can zoom through almost any obsticle now in the first 3 stages with no problem. Well sort of.

Spoilers (Select To Read): Just beaten the game earlier today. OMFG! I've never had so much fun in a Last Story since...ever! Darkspine Sonic is SOOOOOOO more aggressive than Super Sonic. I don't ever recall Super Sonic being so raw, like how Darkspine Sonic demonstrated. Rampage kicking a giant ball of energy while doing the Goku scream? Viciously punching and kicking the **** out of a giant blob monster, then "Big Bang Attacking" it as the finale? Hell yes! I'm guessing the World Rings he had were the "negative" emotions? I also liked Sonic's voice in his transformed state. The vocals were a slightly deeper and more angrier. You know how SSJ3 Goku's voice is in the english dub? Yeah. IMO, it's similar (although he does sound a little like Jet, despite both of them being voiced by the same VA)).
Personally, I don't see the problem with Darkspine. As far as I'm seeing, the general reception for Darkspine is pretty high. I agree with Cooki about this making Sonic more interesting. I REALLY hope to see this form again in the future.

I know, but it just seems so ridiculously hard. All I've gotten were bronzes and a couple of silvers. I guess I'm going to need better abilities.
Same here Shadic. But with Time Break[Chaos Control basically, right?] and Speed Break[essentially, CC wouldn't you say?] now in my arsenal..I think things will start to get interesting.
Not as interesting as you'd think, if by "interesting" you mean "more likely for me to get Gold Medals". You'll need the max speed increase for that (it comes pretty soon after, though), and even THEN you're still gonna have problems.
Honestly, if you're shooting for Golds, it really looks like it's "level-up or DIE" territory - because many of these Golds are impossible to get until you get power-up X by level-upping so much.
By the way, the third stage is now the most annoying stage -.-..I'm hating the jump or squish segment, because I have to walk through there. -.- I can't seem to hold the Wiimote level LOL. I'm breaking, and then OMFG WALK OFF BEAM!
However, with the way the rings grow....
I don't see a need for four rings, unless I'm missing something....I'd just put all the skills on one ring...
You can customize any of the Skill Rings in the beginning. You can have it to where you have a ring with only speed abilities, another with only flight abilities, etc.
Oh noy, don't say that SH. But I guess to unlock all that stuff in the Special Book, it should be tough. I see some insane amounts of replay value in this game. *buys a 40 pack of AA batteries*
