Rayman and Sonic on the Rev. is a buy to me. plus, it's under 250. And Spring Heart is right - You cant juge a game by it title so PUT ASIDE YOUR PRIDE AND PLAY THE BLASTED GAME! Just because Shadow (which is running up to get the Golden Joy Stick Award for family game :info at Sonic stadium) Or Riders was a bad game don't automaticaly think that it's a bad game. Sonic could of died in Sonic 3D like Earthworm Jim (Who is FINALLY makeing a comeback) and Bubsey or died whean Sega stoppped makeing consoles (I highly dout that). You people digust me sometimes jugeing things like this whean you don't have ANY TO JUGE BUT THE TITLE! Shame on you all.

No companey don't care about a blasted title for a game, they care about the game itself. All Sony want (Like other companyes) is money and they simply put a title name because they can't leave it blank. So ask your self - are you not buying the game because the title is not cool or because you think it's on a 'kiddy' game system? Who knows it could be a good sonic game it you ingone the title.

No, I'm currently not interested in buying the game because 1) there's not a single character I care about in the game and 2) it's on a system that currently doesn't have any games that I care about either.

Reguardless of the title, I think it looks pretty good.

I downloaded both the Media Player and Quicktime versions of this trailer and they both freeze with the Sonic flicking the Wiimote part. Anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

You know what would be interesting? If by "The Secret of the Rings", they mean they're gonna explain why there's giant golder rings floating about everywhere. It's confusing.
I hope it isn't referring to the Power Rings. We already know the secret of them. Here's a list of the secrets for each kind of ring.
normal-monez! Get 50 to becomes Supah form! Also available in grape!
GOAL rings- automatically foil the bad guys' plans at the end of a lvl.

Special stage ring- Trials for Chaos/Super/whatever-else-powerful-items. If you already have all of these items, then when you touch it, God farts on your character, and BAM!!! Instant 50 rings. Another and you get another live. Whooptie frickin' doo. It's basically a "shortcut to ultra power form!". Extras are unlocked by these if you get all of the items. But I think it's because the rings WANT you to spend like 8 hours going through all that crap just to see the real ending when you can just go to Wiki or something. Real pains in the arse.

I have my reservations about playing something which looks like a full length version of the Hunny Slider minigame from Kingdom Hearts 2, however I must say that the game looks absoloutely gorgeous, which is a plus (if a little bit of a minor one).
This said, I once petitioned for a Road Avenger style game with Sonic in it, I'd be singing praises if it were a full anime cutscene. So, perhaps the rollercoaster event may entertain.
Still, nice trailer. Not too keen on the new tagline. Last thing we need is rationale on another minor element of the Sonic world, when there are so many HUGE points that need addressing or sweeping under the rug.

That Dino is creepy. If it's a boss thean it might be hard. But someone who was afraid to fight King Boo Boom at the age of 12 on SA2:B should be afraid of a giant Dino.(read:Me)
What game do you think we'll be playing. It's a rollercoaster game, not an adventure game. Bosses aren't really a possibility. The enemies seem to be "hit jump at the right moment to trigger a chain of events".
All you have is left, right and jump... that's it.

Biolizard could count as a dinosaur I guess. But then again, it could just be a reptile as well. Let's just say both.
Reptiles are a members of Dinos i belive. (How the heck is Birds related to Dinos is what i want to know. There was a few fossals of Dino Birds but i wonder if it's possible. Moveing on.) So Espio and Vector was the first reptiles in the sonic world whean Knuckles Chaotix came out. (Too bad sega don't remenber that) Blolizard was a created dino/reptile. But he counts too. Shadow was a created hegehog so he count as a hegehog. Bla bla. I know to much to be 14 frecking years old.

(Reptiles by today's standards have evolved from various kind of Dinosaurs or ancient fish. Birds that came from Dinosaurs had somehow gained feathers from mutation and becuase they were better at flying, and thus hunting, were able to live, breed, and continue to evolve to what we have today. Did that help any, Candy?)

Mutations are just little genetic blips when the DNA splits and rearanges itself in reproduction. It works like that for everything with DNA. It's totally random.
Back on topic. Does YouTube have it yet? I have such a hard time finding videos there, but my little dial-up computer seems fine with it.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up but why if this game only has Sonic as the main character and is mostly about speed not called "Sonic the Hedgehog"?, yet the PS3/360 which will apparently be more related to SA1/2 and have other characters sharing the spotlight not have the epic "Secret of the ($*#" title the Wii version has?

The Wii sonic game and the 360/PS3 games are 2 completely different games.
I think that is what he's asking.
The title for "Sonic the Hedgehog" (the 360/PS3 game) is called that becuase the creators hope for it to be a sort of rebirth and revitalization for the series. It's a new beginning, just like the first game, but it really does look like it could've just as easily been called Sonic Adventure 3.
The title for "Sonic and the Secret of the Rings" is becuase that's simply what the game is about, the secret of the rings. The fact that Sonic is going solo has nothing to do with the title.
Since the Sonic 2 beta was never released, it doesnt count...
And even then, its a robot not a dinosaur.
The Biolizard was a modified reptile, not a modified diplodicus, so its not a dinosaur...
And complain about mutations only being small. We share a large portion of our DNA with plants...

Imagine an ongoin runway and someone who keeps up with you. Like the SA2 last Sonic and Shadow fight, or the Advance 2 bosses done well?
I see bosses working more like the Babylon Guardian did in Riders, since you're pracically in constant motion. Maybe instead of bosses we'll get races. Or maybe levels that play like special stages of older games.

Hmm those pics seem pretty nice, thoguh it doesn't appear to be graphically different from Sonic Heroes. Oh well it looks pretty good as of now.

That's because it looks much better in motion. The fact that the actually moved toward defined character shadows from circle shadows is a big hint.

It has been reported that Nintendo is not competing with power this round (and with the competition, I don't blame them), so don't expect anything graphically-stunning with the Wii.
The game, regardless, does look very smooth. Cannot wait to get the system this Christmas. 🙂
