<< First question, not really a gameplay help question. Umm, what are the Pearls for? I mean, don't mind collecting them as I run, but uhh, the heck are they for?

They're for the Soul Gauge, the meter that allows you to do Time Break/Speed Break. Apparently you don't have it yet.

Nope. I got it today though after having the time to play for more than 20 min at a time. Thanks though.

>> << I'm the only one posting in this topic. Sad, really.

K, I'm missing one world ring. SPOILERS AHEAD, SO BE WARNED NOW.

I don't know how I skipped one fricking world ring, but I did.
Got the one after you kill the Scorpion-Yellow
Got the one after you kill mantaray thing-Blue
Got the one from Ifrit (who really annoyed me)-Red
Got the one from King Solomon-White
..I know I have 6, where the hell did I even pull the other two from...Green and Purple I got. I think I got Purple from the Sky level that was utterly annoying...
Green had to come from the Dinosaur one..

So yeah, where the heck's the last one?

And I'll reply to my own question. Gotta keep beating all the missions you can. Once you get through enough of them in each stage, you'll attain the ring. for that stage.

Hi, I'm new here and stuff. Just wanted to get that out, So anyway, Do you have to complete every mission in game, Or just some certain one's?, Because i hate doing those missions where you race against Uhu. So far as of yesterday i beat Erazor and unlocked Shadow and Cream in party mode. So now i just need that World Ring and i can get to beating the game. One more question: How do you unlock "Big's travel diary" in the Special book?, If it means getting alot of Gold Metals then never mind, I have tough times getting Bronze ones, So that's all.

Hrm. Well Sapphire, here's what I can tell ya so far.

As for the World ring-I assume you mean the purple one..just try to beat as many of the Night Palace stages as you can-getting a Bronze helps.

As for Big's Travel Diary-you need to read the instructions that are given to you under each part in the Special Book. I haven't actually gotten around to getting them myself, but all you gotta do is follow those instructions and you'll find Big everytime

>> Question again. Anyone got any tips on the whole Beat 30 missions with under 100SP unlockable. I'm positive Im on Mission 32 here, and I don't have medals in alot of them, so My question is..

Do I need medals, and if not, do the Last Prologue stages count as Missions, or not?

Now to try and figure out the direct path to Erazor.

Okay i unlocked one screen shot for Big's travel diary. as for your question: No metals only unlock things in the book and fire souls are for getting minigames and characters for said mini games, And lost Prologue's metals do count.

So here's my new question : I don't know how to use "mini turbo" and whatever the move stronger than it, At the moment i'm at level 40 with all 193 ( or whatever how much ) experience points maxed out.

No offense, but did you try reading the game's description of the move? Where it tells you to thrust the wiimote forward when the timer's at one?

All things considered, I have trouble with that move too. I can do it, don't get me wrong, but it's very hit-or-miss at times.

I think your trouble with mini turbo lies with where you are holding the remote. When you see "1" pop up, slam the remote forward. Be careful not tilt the remote back too far when you are done, or else you will be canceling the move (you'll be telling Sonic to go backwards).

In my opinion, the controls could be a lot tighter.

Oh, i see now thanks! Well anyway i beat the game just yesterday, Man that last boss is so hard to beat! So if you haven't gotten that far in the game yet let me warn you: The boss is freaking hard to beat in fact you may die at the beginning of the fight, And you have to move the Wii remote very fast so take breaks or else your fingers will begin to feel like there breaking your arms will feel like noodles and you'll get VERY sweaty, now i will stop talking before i might spoil something,

Yeah last boss was nuts. K baclk to my dilemma. I haven't tried to attain gold medal-age yet, since I'm currently busy at my job again.

Now, for a funny quote

I'm trying to unlock these things...in the book n_~
However-every morning I get up and restart Sonic and slam through 30 levels...and of course, that one page in the Special book does not open. So, my question now is this..

1) Do I need to use a ring that has not been used in any other file save before {I always use ring A-so I could theoretically use ring b-which has had no skills on it ever...and yeah...}

2) Do I need to have 4 skills on for the 20 missions special unlockable? Cause I have on at Max 3- and I'm still getting nothing after the end of mission 20. So I'm just sorta confused as to why these things aren't opening?

Okay, Here's what i unlocked by getting the metals so far:

In the early missions of Lost Prologue when i got a Gold metal i got an original Concept of Shahra.
As for Silver ones they can mainly unlock things in the first page "History", witch basically Has pictures of the US JAP and EU Cover Art of the Game(s) of that year. you just need three Silver metals to get '05-06 witch has all game cover art of Sonic Rush, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Riders.

So anyway, Hope this helped.

Talk about a run-on sentence, I mean, it never ends, and you never used a period once, which makes the whole thing incredibly hard to follow, so although I'm probably being something of a grammar Nazi, can I politely ask you to amend this, for ease of reading, and also perhaps fix it so that your sentence doesn't end with a comma like so,

I'm not stuck on the game, but I experianced weird things I feel the need to get off my chest.

Within less than a month of buying the game and within roughly 24 hours of playing time total, I got all seven world rings and beat the last boss.

Buh? I read everywhere on T'internet that it was _really_hard_. WTF? It's not hard at all! Sure there are some things I took a good few tries at, but I'm _awful_ at computer games! It took me 4 years to complete SA2, people. And the last bosses are like easy, once you work out where you're going wrong and how to remedy it. You only have to hit them like four times and they're dead meat!

I feel strangely disapointed...I don't get why. I liked the game, I liked the story, I like the new moves you can do. I didn't hate the difficult bits enougth to get upset. It's bugging me because I was so darn determined to like this game.

I was really determined to like this game, especially after reading a few reviews from those who didn't. I am loathe to admit it, but it didn't challenge me enough. Maybe I expected somthing tougher, maybe I'm just weird in a way that I can adapt to the wii remote better than some....it's true that I never noticed andy real 'problems' with the manuvoers or handling, not once I'd figured out just how it was sposed to work. I learned new skills, I solved problems, I had fun....so I don't get what's wrong. *pokes self*

I'd happily describe myself as a devoted Sonic fan, and I don't support the ideas going round that Sonic games are getting worse and worse. Sorry to rant on and on, but I just don't get why I'm not happy now I've won! Any ideas?
