Ok I recent;y tried to play Sonic CD on my PC, but I kept getting this "missing Dino2D.ddl" message. Could someone help me out with this problem?

Google it, then Google for the patch since the DLL isn't going to solve all the problems.

Sonic CD doesn't work on anything above Windows 98, usually. I think Sonic CulT made a patch which allows you to run it on XP, though.

This is assuming you're talking about a legitimate version.

If you're playing a ISO, you need the Mega CD bios for your emulator.

Dino2D.DLL isn't used by Gens, Craig. It's the PC version alright.

GOOGLE. I already said it. I found it first try without coming across ANY paysites, just one minute ago. If you can't find it, you need much, much practice with Google.

It would probably be easier to instead download this, set up Windows 95 as your guest OS, and run Sonic CD through there.

Nah, I think it'd be easier to just download the DLL files and install the patch to have it working natively on XP than have to install another OS (or... whatever that thing is).

Anyway, I've gotten off my lazy bum and used my own webspace for this.

Transplanting a bunch of legacy 16-bit DLLs into a 32-bit operating system doesn't exactly qualify as "working natively". But hey, forgive me for thinking that someone who wants to play Sonic CD might also want to run other old games that don't run on DX9, more obscure ones that don't have DX9 fixes.
