Sorry if this has been asked before, I've searched the forums and not seen it so here goes.
How do you configure the keys to controle the characters in Sonic Heroes on the Pc? The defaultkey setup is very annoying. I can get into the control options but it appears immposable to change them. The readme says nothing useful. I'd look it up in the manual but I appear to have missplaced it.
You get a joypad (the recently-released Xbox 360 PC pad should work - and yes, they HAVE released a version of the Xbox 360 pad for the PC, and yes, it's official). Then you customize the controls. Otherwise, AFAIK, you can't.
1) Make sure your Sonic Heroes disc is in the computer. If not, insert the disc and let it run (if it has autoplay active). Make sure your joystick is plugged in and any drivers (if applicable) installed as well.
2) Using your mouse or other pointing device, select OPTIONS.
3) Click on the last tab, the one that says "Controller Settings".
4) Edit the configuration on the page. Make sure you click on SELECT when done. If you make a mistake, you can click on RESET TO DEFAULT SETTING.
5) You are ready to test your new settings.
It's easier to do it in-game, methinks.
I think he wants to setup a controller with the game which is done before playing the game. It doesn't make sense to adjust it when the game runs unless he wants to change something in the setup.
