Knuckles says a dirty word everytime he punches. When Omega shows the index finger, thats suppose to be a dirty finger sign to people. Team Chaotix theme song says "take that (says a dirty word for your butt). I don't know why Sega used cencoring bypass.

I'm not sure what exactly you're referring to here, but take a good look at it again and watch what way around his hand is. If it is indeed the 'right' way for flipping the bird, I'm pretty sure it's just supposed to be him raising his finger as he makes a point.

No it doesn't. Go take a good look at the lyrics at a reliable site. It almost says "as*" at the end, but they never actually say that word ("they're gonna kick your..."), rather just imply it.

I don't remember Knux saying anything bad in heroes, Sonic Adventure is another story. When playing with Japanese voices in SA1 if Knuckles digs and doesn't get anything, I'm pretty sure he says kuso which is Japanese for the F-word(and is about the only Japanese cuss word to my knowledge).
Then Sonic Adventure should also be rated teen. In that game Sonic sometimes flicks his nose. And in Britian during Shakespeare's time, that was considered "showing the bird"
Except this isn't Shakespeare's time... and Sonic did what, when, where, why, how?...
Besides, it's not like he was biting his thumb.

The fact with censorship is that if people just say its a bad game (as in poor) no one would buy it. 25 to Life springs to mind yet this game has a hell of a lot of publicity for being immoral. Which just turns that part of the brain on. I didnt buy GTA: San Andreas becuase I didn't like the style of the game.
The fact you've started a thread about a year and a half old game and it content is amnazing. Knuckles doesn't swear because if he did you would have thought it would be on the internet by now. The Chaotix Theme simply implies that they are going to kick your donkey. I have never seen Omega flip the bird but if he did that would be another reason to love him/it.

In order to add something to the discussion, I will say that if Sonic Heroes is adult, so is SA2 thanks to the sheer level of innuendo.
It's all in lines like "Let me show you my real power!" "I'm getting excited!", and watching the interaction between Knuckles and Rouge (and Rouge's breasts).
Or perhaps the American hand gesture for masturbation that Sonic and Shadow pull off right before going super in SA2....

Curse words are apparently not all that offensive anymore. Ever played Megaman Battle Network 2? The main character, a, like, fourteen year old boy, says a profanity at least once within every chapter. One of the main enemies even goes, "Da** it to H*ll" when he's caught.
It's widely accepted that, since Knuckles' next word in the combo is 'rock,' that his first one is shift.
"Shift! Rock! Ha!" Since he's obviously explaining he's strong enough to shift stone.
You use the middle finger to flip someone off. There is no middle number in four, so thus, Omega was created with the inability to flip-off.
The Team Chaotix song is perfectly acceptable, as it cuts off at just the right moment. You can do that all you want in something Y7 on Cartoon Network. (I'm supposing Y7 = E, though.)
Some of Knux' songs are full of innuedo, though. Not only does he call Rouge 'sexy and smooth,' but he says that he's gonna 'get her with his tools,' and that she's 'after his emeralds.' Innuedo so blatant even I understand it. Scary.

I'm sure it's coincidental, but reguardless of how you feel, it is still an accepted guesture for the act of self-satisfaction (at least in the 'States). Wierd though, that it is the first time (and last) that Sonic has done that particular motion when going Super....

Heh, heh. I've always wondered what's going on in Club Rouge myself, and oddly enough, I always thought it had something to do with that motion, too.
All kidding aside, it is a pretty well accepted adult hand gesture in the states. For proof, you can check out "Bride Of Chucky." Chucky does it at one point to deride another character. I'm sure there are other cinematic representations of it, but I don't have any other ones on hand.
