Those CG scenes may look cool, but they put anime scenes in Sonic CD. The CG intro may have more advanced graphics, but the reflex in Sonic CD looks more impresive. Sonic bareley looks fast in the Sonic Heroes intro. The reflex looks less impressive. Why did they had to put squares on walls of stages and floors? Same thing by puting directional arrows. That's one of the reasons why the graphics where unimpressive. They even did that on the intro. Sonic looks much more faster in Sonic CD intro.
The only part of it that resembles CD is the beginning where he's navigating the rocks...and they ruined it with the whoosh and plane sounds.
Just because it has metal sonic doesn't mean its Sonic CD....

Translator please.
Those CG scenes may look cool, but they put anime scenes in Sonic CD. The CG intro may have more advanced graphics, but the animation in Sonic CD looks more impressive. Sonic bareley looks fast in the Sonic Heroes intro and it isn't slick like the SCD intro. Why did they have to put squares on walls of stages and floors like in the classics? Same thing with the directional arrows. It makes the graphics unimpressive. They even did that on the intro. Sonic still looks faster in the SCD intro.
Unfortunately, even after translation it doesn't make a huge amount of sense, but that's becuase his logic seems to be...well...skewered. In the back. By a ninety foot long spear.
No offense
I think while we're correcting people's grammar, his logic was skewed as opposed to skewered.
No offense.
LOL...no. Grammar has nothing to do with logic and grammar does not equal spelling.
html formatting much??????
*blinks*
*backs away slowly*
I find his logic unshakeable. Now I see why Sonic Heroes was so bad...it was the checkered walls all along!

They even put those checker walls on the intro and the ground. Same thing with the floor having directional arrows. We don't need any of that.
God forbid Sega try to go back to their roots and recreate the games which made us love the series(!)
Sega. Please don't try doing what you did in Sonic Heroes by puting checkered walls again.
God forbid checkered walls EVER exist! Why, Sonic 1 was utter CRAP because of them! And Sonic 2 had SOME checkered walls... it must not have been very good either! And Sonic 3&K's special stages were centered ENTIRELY around checkered spheres! Then there's Sonic CD, which was more triangle than square but was still otherwise checkered! For shame, Sega. You can't make any good Sonic games after all...
To put some conversational topic in here rather than mindless baiting of a ignorant young newbie; I do recall when Sonic Heroes was first announced the checkered walls in the screenshots along with the greenness of the first level were a huge hype, thirded only to Chaotix and Metal Sonic.
If I remember correctly, most people including yours truly, were convinced that Sega were going back to old skool level design (checkered hills being a very huge clich of the Sonic series since day one and a signiture mark of South Island itself), it turned out they were just doing a Sonic Advance 3 styled "around the world", but I still appreciate the sentiment of that level, if anything else.
Sadly, Shadow seems to have doubled back and said "NEWNEWNEW!!!" and thrown all of the green hill styled zones in the trash.
A pity, really. Still, Rush has a fair mix bag.
