This is a plan to rewrite Sonic HQ's game info, which as you probably know, has barely been updated since the site started.
Buzzbomber made an excellent Sonic 2 page up to the standards of what I'm aiming for. However, as I've learned by assigning pages to others, such a job is too big for one person.
I'm looking for volunteers to help write the game info on the board so it may be copied. By working together we can fill in everywhere and get better quality.
Downloads related to a game may also be useful, but not until we have a downloads script running. If you have them, though, that would be extremely useful. Manual scans and art related to a game especially.
Super-detailed info such as points required for certain ranks or stats or that kind of thing would be useful.
I will start topics on games being worked on and people can post their contributions there. You can post your intent to contribute here so I get an idea of how popular this idea is and who may be interested in writing.
- Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit)
- Sonic Adventure
- Sonic The Hedgehog (2006)
- Sonic and the Secret Rings
- SegaSonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Arcade)
- Shadow the Hedgehog

Hmm...I might Be able to help out with the Sonic the Fighters artical.
And may I also ask (If not a big problem) if we can make a spinoff game page. Like Flicky was made before Soinc and appeared in Sonic games, there for being a spin off game (Or something like that). I'll be more thean happy to do that too!
EDIT:Oh boy, Did I find some goods on some of my old threads! I copyed and Pasted some info form two sites and put links leaded to the sites. I did not use permission. Just added the links where I found the info. Do you still want me to Paste it here?
I'll scope my Hard drive for picture of The Forgotton Ones and The Current Ones. (Puts on Suba gear and dive in hard drive)
Being one of the few people who own Sonic 360, I can write some info up on that I guess.
Sonic HQ is dead mang
😛
I may can help with the Sonic Shuffle page.
i'd love to help along in Sonic Adventure1.
I know my way around the GBA games pretty well so I s'pose I could try my hand at writing an article.
Couldn't we make a kind of HQ-only wiki? Only registered members can modify and such.
That is on the way but using the board is faster atm.
I could write some stuff and junk.
If we're also doing Easter Eggs, unknown facts, and unreleased stuff, I guess I'll join in.

With that being said, we should do a page for Ristar, since he was a prototype of Sonic that went a different direction. The internet needs a big Ristar information site, ever since the Ristar Cluster went nonexistant.
Also we should put the Western versions after the U.S. versions of the games, Because sometimes the Western versions are diffrent from the U.S. versions.
... just how far west are you talking about?
Uh.... I thought the western version covered Europe and Asia. Stupid me.
Uh, how about the Japan version instead? Alot of people complane about how better the Japan versions is thean the American versions.
All areas should be covered as much as they can be, Sonic Candy. That is the ideal situation anyway. If there is more said about one part of a game than another, then it's simply because there is just that much more to be said.
If/when i get my scanner out i can provide images from the sonic gameworld and tails and the music maker sega pico games as well as pictures of the boxes and the manuals. Also if needed can record video from the actual games in action.
Uh, I can also scan some magazine reviews and stuff if my Scanner can act right. I will have Exams soon so I might do alot untill the weekend.
I know a lot of information on near enough all the games i would like to help out but am not sure which game/cartoon/comic to do but i do not know a lot about japaneese versions just the west ones for me.
I could scan the manuals of alot of games
I did find something that may be of interest: a complete playthrough of SegaSonic the Arcade (emulated version) is up on YouTube. Here's the link:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0Qr0kSXGEg
It was put up by a guy named nnyknife777, if you need to give credit.
I have a walkthrough for S3&K that was rejected on Gamefaqs.
I could submit it if you like.
With how easy XNA is to use, The fact that it's free for all, and the power on most PCs I think we cound make an very good game together.
What wound also add is putting all the video on the Sonic HQ site into 1 torrent file, just to make easy on all the users.
