I've just got a few questions about some Sonic music that I was hoping someone could help me out with?

1). In Sonic Advance 3, in what stage of the game do the "Intact 1" and "Intact 2" tunes play? I can't ever remember hearing them during the game.

2). Does anyone know if there's a site that has some of the music from SA/SA2/SH that wasn't released on the soundtracks? It's only minor stuff for SA and SH - the "Drowning" music, and "Act Passed", and stuff like that; but for SA2 there's quite a few tunes missing - most of the Chao-related music, not to mention Green Hill (or is Green Hill the exact same as the original?)

Alternatively, does anyone have any idea on how I can extract this music from the games myself? I know it's possible, but I lack the tech chops to do it :p

3). For both the Japanese and American soundtracks, what music plays during the Time Attack and DA Garden/Visual Mode? Is the American DA Garden the same music as the title screen? And is the Japanese Time Attack the same music as the title screen too?

4). Anyone know if it's possible to get non-midi music for Mean Bean Machine (both Genesis and GG); Sonic Blast (G-Sonic); Tails' Skypatrol; Pocket Adventure; or SegaSonic Arcade from anywhere? I know the music isn't that great, but they're the only games I don't have music for :p

I know there's a lot of stuff here, but thanks for any help ^_^

Does that include the link Vs. modes?

For games released on PS2, Xbox and PC (SMC+, Heroes, SADX), you can plop the discs into any ordinary PC DVD-ROM (CD-ROM for SADX PC) and have access to the files therein. For games in GD-ROM format (Dreamcast) and mini-DVD (GameCube), you'll have to look online for dumped images and use a mounting utility to take a look in its file structure.

Music comes in two packages: .ADX (music file) and .AFS (compressed, could contain dozens of .ADX files). Google is your friend, use it to locate conversion software (start with ADX2WAV).

Someone else will have to help you with the rest.

Psx - Nope, all the VS related music seems to be lumped together, while the Intact music is in with the zones and bosses.

Don't suppose you've got any idea where I can find dumped image files, do you? I'm on Gamecube 😛

SH - Sure, what's the MP3 of?

Here you go, again from EspioKaos. Scroll down all the way to the Jingles, the MIDI is Round Clear, of course.

I have an MP3 of the Round Clear music from SA2/SH, but not SA. They're slightly different.

If the SA and SADX round clears are the same, then since I have the SADX PC version all of the music and conversions are available as WMA files,

Round clear SADX WMA Use right click save.

Speed up SADX WMA Use right click save.

Invincible SADX WMA Use right click save.

Thanks for that, Creosote! ^_^

I hate to be a bother, but you don't have access to *all* of the SADX music, do you? There's a couple of tracks I'm still after:

- The main title screen music
- The music that plays when Big catches a fish/Froggy
- The "item" music
- The "Mission Start" and "Mission Finish" music
- The race lobby and goal music for the Chao races

Thanks so much if you've got any of those and are able to upload them. You'll be on my list of Coolest People Ever :p

Ahhh, thanks, mate! You're awesome :D

Is there another Chao Race Lobby song on there? I think between SA and SADX they changed the music, but forgot to edit it on the Sound Test...

Hey awhile back someone posted that they had the theme to the Shadow The Hedgehog game just before the forum crash. But I couldn't get it, I was wondering if anyone has it still? If so, email it to ChaosXVI@yahoo.com , thanks a bunch:thumbsup

Just another question that hopefully someone will know the answer to:

Does anyone know at what stage during Sonic Adventure the songs "Unbound" and "Goodbye" play? I was assuming towards the end of the game, but I can't seem to find them anywhere...

Been a while since I last played SA1, so I could be mistaken, but I think 'Unbound' is when Gamma dies, and 'Goodbye' is when Tikal and Chaos acend to the heavens or wherever they go.

I have the entire SA1 soundtrack, which has all the tunes you're talking about, Matt. If you want anything, just IM me on AIM: ducttaped32x. I'd be more than happy to hook you up.
