Heck, I got me a PSP when I learned of Sonic Rivals, and I consider it a good purchase.
Well, we got some footage from E3. Looks like it'll be fun...and, for what it's worth, I'm pretty sure I heard 4Kids voices.

There is a contradiction in the preview. It says that Sega are keeping the remaining characters (I.E. Not Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Metal Sonic, Shadow, Silver) a closely guarded secret.

If you remember (And your all die hard Sonic fans, so you should) Sonic Drift 1 was only released in Japan. Where as Sonic Drift 2 (or Sonic Drift Racing) was released all over the world.
Sonic Rivals was released everywhere except Japan and maybe because they already knew about Sonic Rivals 2 being in development, the powers that be decided to focus on Sonic Rivals 2 for Japan.
The fact that you can blast through the levels without Rivals if you choose makes me happy.

Wow, on the Rivals 2 boards at Game FAQs, some were saying Rouge was a Rival because they saw it at a GameStop; I guess it wasn't just a mock up as some thought 'cuz it sure looks real enough to me.

Well Tails I can possibly understand. But Espio and Sonic never even really talk to each other and Sonic's and Rouge's relationship is pretty much apatheic, unless they work together
Gamespot has some new screenshots that look to be.... a fight mode? Several different characters are shown facing each other and dukes up. It even shows Knuckles swinging at Espio.
