Surely thats a reason to release all the information thats not presently on the site. Not all of us have sought out the leaked footage so its like we're being punished for playing by the rules.
Also, don't get me started on card games on motorcyles minecarts (Dammit, TTG). Like those ones in the Mystic Ruins in Sonic Adventure. They were so freaking annoying. Like, you'd hop in one and it'd automatically take you to another area without any fuss. Damn you Sega.
Personally, I liked the minecarts in Sonic 2 on the master system. 😛
Minecarts should be used for run racing things. But watching the Minecart in Sonic 4....
It reminds me of those plasic maze toys. Remember those? The one with the tiny metal ball and you had to rotate the whole plastic case to get the ball through the maze? I hated those things. Now I imagine the Sonic 4 minecart level is probably like that. Only you're playing it through a scope that's super zoomed in so you can't see any enemies in front of you til its too late, you don't know where the heck you are in relative to anything else in a maze that spins you all around, so hope you don't end up going backwards. And the metal ball is even more fussy and hard to maneuver.
Yeah but Sonic Team had to be innovative. Just going to the right is too boring.
I don't know whether any of you are still checking, but the Japanese Sonic 4 site has had a major overhaul. I've gotta say, although there's no brand new, never before seen features just go and have a look at what they've done - it's quite special.

Ditto, Hyper. Such as my tax return. I'm trying very hard to convince myself it's not the best idea to spend my tax return on one of the few limited edition Dreamcasts on ebay since mine recently died.
After the entire game was leaked there's no really anything that can be said until we start getting proper hands-on reviews, which (if they're aiming for a June 23rd release) I imagine will start happening soon. It almost feels like Sega just cancelled any further promotion they had for this game because nothing they can give us will be more interesting than the entire game on Youtube.
There still are episodes 2 and 3 that are not leaked... yet? Of course no one knows when they'll come out.
I just can't bring myself to do it... no... no... they always seem to let me down... I just... cant... do it...

Kotaku claims there´s a new leaked video out. Not sure if it really is new, since I didn´t watch all the leaked ones and this one has been taken down by SEGA already. So yeah, there was something new for a while there. 
*nods* It was a video of Mad Gear zone, and showcased Sonic turning Super in-gameplay, according to eyewitness reports. I didn't catch it in time.
I think it's really a bad move on Sega's part to just stop using the website without any indication at all just because everything's already been leaked... it doesn't seem right.
Was the SanFrancisco studio in charge of it? If so, then that would explain the lack of, well, anything lately.

This is very good news indeed. I can't remeber Sega ever delaying the release of a Sonic game (hence why Sonic 3 was cut in half), so hopefully they really mean what they say about making it "worthy of bearing the weight of its name".
lol. Does that trailer really show Sonic with 108 lives? Is this the first time the life count has gone into triple digits (Sonic 3 definitely allowed more than 99, but the code for the display wouldn't allow a "100")? Makes me wonder though how easy is is to aquire 1-Ups though. I've been avoiding the leaked info, so it's great to have something new, and seeing the game in action for the first time, I think it's looking pretty good.
