This game could very well end up something completely different than what the advertisers envisioned. I hope you guys still have lowered expectations. 
Heard about that this morning, and was immediately thankful to have no expectations for this game anyway. Still, it's only a matter of time before something meaningful is released by Sega that tells us something about this game. I don't consider this necessarily a reason for one to lower his/her expectations.

Sega has had problem with leaks before (seeing Integrated Alchemy Media talking are about the game without Sega permission pretty much confimr that) I see no problem with Sega not telling them anything.
That would mean than unless it ends up being leaked, we probably won't be seeing/reading/etc. anything about this for a long while. I'm still not going to get my hopes up until I see something.

They didn't get a character (SEGA didn't want to reveal how Sonic will look in this game or hadn't finalized it), they didn't get a game (SEGA didn't want to show any gameplay even if they already had any to show), and they didn't get a a title or logo (probably weren't decided upon yet, and sticking with the working title keeps up the mystery).

So yea...i'm hoping Tails'/Knuckles' names weren't up there because they are a given. Like i'd love to just play as Sonic, but considering they are going to offer other characters to play as, Tails and Knuckles HAVE to be available. Duh!

No no they are doing it all wrong! Step 1 of the "Sonic cycle" is to reveal pictures of just Sonic on his own first to get peoples hopes up. And then in step 2 reveal the party crashers. Damn SEGA skipping ahead.
But i believe this is all just a big tease to reveal that this really is just a Sonic only game. Thats the only reason why i can think they decided to put Sonics name on that list. I say at the end of the week Sonic will be the only on that list - any takers?
