Jetix aren't responsible for how other stations deal with it, only the station which airs.
ITV haven't bothered to purchase any of the remaining episodes of Sonic X so they cannot air them, and I am assuming ITV are not keen or enthusiastic to get any more eps if they've left it this long.

Since when did the UK ever get anime DVDs that weren't imported from America? 
Seriously though, stop looking out for new episodes, it ISN'T going to happen, there is NO WAY ON EARTH that Jetix can have more episodes this year because there are no more episodes to air.
We have to wait for the new series to start in Japan, then we have to wait for 4kids to buy those episodes, then dub them, then sell them to channels, such as Jetix, and then we get to watch.
This could take well over a year.
It's safe to assume, though, if numerous channels are advertising Sonic X as a 70-odd episode series now, that 4KIDS already have the rights, and have sold them.
Dubbing and releasing, therefore, won't be that long at all, and it could even be as short as six months between Japanese release and US release. The French release took even less time.
According to a blocked topic on sonicanime.net's BBS. 4Kids will begin dubbing the new episodes soon.

First item, questions: What was the last episode the United Kingdom had received of Sonic X? If new episodes are scheduled for airing, when will they start to air?
Second item in the list, more questions: Any trailers for Sonic X for the UK? Any previews of any matter?

not too long ago channel three was playing the sonic adventure story arc, but i kept missing episodes and so don't know on which one they stopped. they used to advertise sonic along with their other programmes at the time, (some sort of cITV cartoon olympics) but not any more.
if you were asking about the digital channels, then i'm sorry..i don't have those. ^^;
but i was going all 'oO' at the animation on one episode, amy, tails and cream were drawn incredubly badly off-model in several scenes.
Jetix have up to Episode 52. Episode 52 (The last of Season 1) first broadcast in the UK at the beginning of January. The last I heard, Jetix are scheduled to show the second season season in November.
What was episode 52? I can't remember o.o
And I've been looking for Sonic-X adverts on Jetix for ages and there's been nothing.
And yeah, ITV has started from the beginning again.

alas, it's common for them to repeat an anime series from the beginning several times. the only trouble is that it's then hard to tell if/when they'll play any new episodes, and so i miss them.
i do find it rather annoying, even although i know i'm clearly not the target audience. ^.x;

Episode 52. Or the best Episode IMHO was where we found out what had happened to the characters that returned to their native planet.
Eggman wanted to find Sonic because conquering the planet was going to be no fun without him.
Amy and Cream were worried about Sonic.
Knuckles and Rouge had a fight pretty much all the way through the episode.
Tails has to defend the planet from Eggman and almost died until Super Sonic pwned the Super Eggman deluxe fortress carrier (am i anywhere near the actual name for it?)
Then Amy chased after Super Sonic and they hugged the next morning in super blurry lens mode.
Then in the future Grown Chris is building a machine to link the two worlds with Chaos Control. Yes the WB40 of the Sonic World. It can warp you anywhere, destroy a planet, stop time and now can link two dimensions. but can it grease a nut.
Also a tip: check the Sonic X episodes with the "I" button on your Sky digital remote if you have sky digital.
Oh yeah. That was the same episode where they had that scene of Sonic crying while Chris was on his back, right?
And yeah, checked the "i" button, and it's all the old ones.
i've seen episode 52, but it was a downloaded fansub. yeah, sonic was crying in that one.

hi now i get to express my veiws now i have signed up.
I have only herd of sonicX in early 2005 i noticed a few months ago that they had started showing sonic x on citv which you all knew about. I watch 2 eps. and guess what they stopped showing it i missed out on everything i only have the 5 channels and no way of watching the rest. I linked up with a japanise translator free company working on sonic X they where fansubing sonicX 1-52 but over the years have only been able to do a few. I waited weeks trying to find a way of watching all the episodes and found a way i was downloading from a bittorrent website and gained all the eps 23-52 supersonic birth-memories of the wind. I never knew that there was more eps passed 52+ and they are being showed in france on the sky channel jetex or something along those lines.
I was searching high and low but all i could find were screenshots from www.teamartail.com i am still searching bittorrent desperatly trying to find the others to join. i have missed out on loads.
But one thing is for certain i am goign to be faster than other peopel looking for it. bittorrent search are brill thanks to them i can watch the eps. lol downloading at 5kb/s for weeks lol i have found a torrent for all the eps in french but i cant speak it so i am waiting for translation eps.53+

It describes the second season, eps 53-78 and says that they are being broadcast soon. If this is true, then good! I've been waiting to see these episodes for a long time. By the way, you have to click on "Teen" and then click on "More info" next to Sonic X in that mutant turtles banner thing.
Great news. I'll have to keep my eyes open and my fingers crossed that they'll air the episodes at a time that unemployed/pre-schoolers wont be the only audience.

Probably, but maybe they'll show 2 new episodes a day or something. On Jetix, we do have 2 episodes every afternoon but as Jetix seem to be introducing more shows to the lineup, it may be punted to having just 1 new episode a day.
Woo, take that America! All 26 episodes in 2 weeks.
Why by DVD boxsets when you can live in Britain, home of the 28 episodes of Simpsons per week.

In all seriousness, though. I hope they flesh it out and air on weekends, for the sake of the "teens" which Jetix apparently wish to aim the show at.
I like the Toonami (UK) way of showing new shows.
Two episodes throughout the week and Catch up on Friday / Weekend.
I hope it isnt a new episode a day starting on a weekend... I missed the Egg Moon Story because of that 🙁

As someone who has watched Teen Titans Season 4 *offers cookies to the god of Torrent* I have to warn, don't get your hopes TOO high. The trailers on Toonami are showing Slade in all his badassness, and for his 2/3 episodes he does indeed rule all.
However the rest of the series is lukewarm one-offs, INSANE DRUG TRIPS involving Tofu and Pie... and a season finale which rivals Titans East as a big Deus Ex Machina anti-climax barf fest.
And I say this as a big TT fan!
So,looks like we've got to keep our eyes peeled at what episode they're currently on as once they show Ep52 they could go straight on to Ep53, as Jetix have had a habit of showing new Sonic X episodes out of nowhere. I'm at school at 2'00pm so I miss Sonic X, though I might tape it tommorow to see where they are...unless anybody's seen it recently here?
A) Crap at Craig's post. Sadness. Oh well really... Still gonna have a laugh though.
B) They will want to promote the new series of Sonic X. especially the fact that they are repeated at 2:00 all the time which most kids are at school. Probably January then.
#53 should air Saturday 5th November. @ 2PM (one ep)
Jetix told me "November." RadioTimes.com (logged in) lists sonic @ 2PM next saturday. As does the Sky Guide.
No adverts yet, but thats Jetix's style 😛

I'll second that 'should'. The programme information on Sky Guide just says 'Catch up with Sonic and friends in this episode of Sonic X', and I'm fairly sure all the first 52 episodes have a proper synopsis. 'Bout damn time too .
