A few minutes ago, I was surfing the internet and looking around the SSMB as well as listening to Sonic X on the TV when i heard "Sonic X" and "New episodes" in the same sentence. I quickly diverted my attention to the TV and spotted the ad for the new episodes this saturday. I glimpsed the end and it showed

Yeah, they're pracitcally showing every ad break now, sometimes it just shows a three second clip of Sonic saying something like "How's it goin, buddy?"

Well I just put my reminders down for the weekend. Also the new episodes of Sonic X don't appear to be shown during the week yet.

So...anybody else catch Episode 53 on today? I thought it was a good but unusual introduction, what with Sonic already in an intense battle as the show begins. Don't know if his opponent's name should be in spoiler tags or not, so I'll just say he's one cool villian! Also, I like the way Eggman shows more of his human side, instead of his hatred for Sonic, by helping him recover from his battle. I'm also interested to figure out how Cosmo knows of Sonic and his Chaos Emerald controlling abilities. Watching Sonic and Knuckles' little argument was pretty funny too. Jetix say new episodes of Sonic X air on the weekend, so there'll probably be another episode tomorrow as well.

Jetix are airing 2ep's a week. (1 on sat + 1 on sun)

As for #53.

A pretty good dubb episode. Not perfect, but I wasnt expecting that anyway.
Cosmo's VA is excellent, though a little lacking in emotion (the part where she watches the Meterex unearth the Planet Egg.)

The VA's were on typical high form. (IMOP) And the episode more-or-less was near enough to the French version. There were changes but the main point was bright across which is what matters IMO.

Pretty good, just about what I was hoping to see from what I've heard about this season. I paticulary liked Eggman in this episode - about as close to 'caring' for Sonic as he can get, and a nice little continuation of episode 52. Cosmo was decent enough, and the other characters were, well, the same as always (though Amy's over-possessiveness of Sonic grated a tad). Can't wait to see how this develops .

Caught episode 54 on the weekend, it wasn't bad. The dubbing has improved and Knuckles in particular sounds better than he used to.

I like Cosmo's voice, it's as meek as Cream's without being a 40 year old baby. I really dislike the Metarex voice used in it though...

Also Cream asking for Vanilla's permission to go into space?! That didn't happen in the original, I'm very very sure of that, it becomes a plot element later >.>

Sorry for not posting this earlier, but for anyone who is interested, it would appear that Sonic X is returning to CITV tomorrow (Thursday) at 4:05. Hopefully they'll be continuing from where they got to with the SA2 arc...

EDIT: Gah! It says 'repeat' in the TV guide! I'm hoping that it's a mistake, but I'm not holding my breath...

Be careful! if you break CiTV, we'll never get the freeview CiTV channel that should be launching at some point in February . Perhaps they might then show more episodes on the new channel.

Well, I really don't think that Sega would use the 4-Kids actors just for Shadow, Rush and Riders and possibly Sonic '06. But you never know. wouldnt hold your breath though.

In season 1 they do. I assume, by playing Shadow the Hedgehog, they got a different guy to do him later on.

yeah, sonic has only just met shadow, so it's the beginning of the SA2 arc.

shadow does sound like a slightly more gravelly sonic right now.

I was just watching a rerun of Sonic X on Jetix, and there was an advertisement for new episodes coming soon and a "Super Sonic Saturday" after it. Seems like we'll be getting the Final Episodes at last.

I would like to watch the first set of Season 3 again. Missed a few episodes plus a general WTD? feeling during the whole series.

i'd love it if they just played the series through from the beginning, instead of repeating episodes then playing the new episodes without warning.

The Sonic X adverts are now saying that the new Episodes are on 24th June, the day after his 15th birthday! And they're calling it "Super Sonic Saturday" so they're probably gonna show all remaining episodes on that one day.

What was the last episode that they showed?

i think we got to the end of the SA2 arc. (i had to keep missing episodes due to conflicting lecture timetable)

Now with the next update. Jetix are saying that the new episodes are from 10:30AM this Saturday. Looks like it is a marathon then...

EDIT: Anybody else catch them then? They showed episode 65 to 74. That means there's still four episodes to show. Maybe they'll air them on the regular 2pm schedule from tommorow then.

THEY CAN'T END IT THERE! But they did.
I thought it was 3 left. Seeing as they showed the first 13 a while back, Showed 10 today. So 3 left.
Also it isn't the new stuff tomorrow. Its the Mountain Chao Garden one, according to information.

Aww Jeez, so it's back to the old episodes tommorow? Do you know what episodes are gonna be on from Monday? Maybe they'll air them just on the weekdays...

I'll wait until next weekend to see if they show two new episodes like they did with the last batch before these ones. If they don't, then I'll email Jetix to see what's happening.

Its all the old series throughout the week. The week ends with The Sonic Adventure Chaos Saga thing. But I would check tomorrow just to make sure. Jetix are almost as bad as Bravo with Gamer TV.

I doubt that they would show the last four episodes in the week because its still school time.

Well, I decided to Email Jetix early and ask them when the last episodes would air and:

Did you try webmaster_uk@jetixeurope.net? That's the address I sent the email to, and I got a reply the very next day! I was suprised myself, as I've heard that Jetix aren't fond of answering!

I was trying to get info on when 65-78 were airing. They stonewalled every damn attempt. Luckily someone on another forum found some info in the June Sky Kids mag.

Last I heard from Jetix was season2 premiering in Nov 2005!

So...we're now in the middle of September, and there's been no word on anything from Jetix about new episodes, at least I don't think there has been, I haven't been watching the channel recently. I've just emailed Jetix to ask what's happening...
