Yeah, but have you seen the Sonic OVA? When has Tails ever been more charming than when he angrily shouts at Sonic,"YOU'RE NO HELP!!", after Sonic refuses to help the "old man". See, in that incarnation, Tails had a great balance. He was equally a cute side-kick AND showed a self-confidence and inginuety to go out and save te "old man" by himself. AND he actually stands up to Sonic - yet 15 miutes later he's clutching on to him for dear life because he's "AFRAID OF LIGHTNING!". More of that please.
In which case, allow me to say "Quoted for Truth!" in an entirely non-sarcastic way. Apart from the severe cold, I thought that was a great incarnation of Tails.

The voices of those two was something for me to get used to. I was still on the SatAM train so I was like wait...Why isn't he voiced by Jaleel White o_o??
But I love this movie and now I want to go watch it again.

Amen to that! One of the big problems I had with the SonicX series is that the tornado is only in like, 3 episodes. That thing he was flying instead looked like a cross between an air craft carrier an a rejected Autobot.

It looks like the unholy lovechild of Skyfire and a Gundam.
in the old sonic he looked like a baby, something around 6 years old. and he fit the role of being sonic's tag-along or sidekick.... now he looks more suitable for adventures and speaking full sentences.
the old tails just won't work with today's sonic games, they're more rough and complicated. hey they even say the word "Dead" which is a taboo word in children entertainment.
if there's a need for a cute 6 year old, i think cream is enough. i also strongly aid the idea they put her mother in the picture, ..although cream's voice is really bad not once was i satisfied with it.
