But they don't. So sad. Time to move on in life.
So sad indeed. =/
How pretty.
Eh... It looks alright....
The one with Eggman and the Death Egg is definately going on my computer!
I think it would look pretty cool.
If only
wow, those are really well done.
too bad its not very likely sega will do it.

They've been working on that for a while now. It's all fan made; and it's pretty good.

The Chemical Plant one was the best for me. Too bad they really aren't like this. =(
Wow. That's pretty impressive. It reminds me of Sonic Robo Blast since it's a mod. Sega should definitely be taking notes from this game.
Veckums, Sonic 3D was 3D because you could move in three dimensions!
Or are you talking about the modern games?
Sonic 3D was an isometric lie!
faux 3D is FAAAAAUUUUUUX
Hey, remember Snake Rattle 'N' Roll on the NES? 3D woo awright!
That CGI Sonic 2 ending would be so much cooler if it was the Super Sonic version.
whoa @ the 3dness. geez that takes some serious skill. :O
DAMN, he's gotten good. I remember he used to lurk at Artail. Gave me fanart too. Much <3 to this guy.

Isin't Sonic Battle isometric? o.o
The map scenes, I suppose.
2D sprites did battle on a 3D map that could be freely rotated at will, but usually remained in a set position (actually, the camera's all free-floaty) above the arena so as to not hinder the gameplay. The map is composed of textured polygons that are rendered on the fly, thusly it cannot be considered isometric as we know it in video games (2D tile-based graphic representing a 3D arena; see: Q-bert, Marble Madness, Landstalker, etc.).
