The SonicTeam sites have been taken down, and at sega.co.jp all mentions of seperate development teams have been removed.
I guess its still a shock even tho we knew it was coming. However, discuss here your reaction to the very end of this forum's namesake.
I personally think this could be a good thing. If they all get mixed back into sega, and distributed about, fresh new people could be working on the next Sonic game, and better time and man-power devoted to it rather than yet another rushed release. But, nontheless i will miss that hedgehog logo and the ring sound popping up, even if for a while its caused disappointment, NiGHTS, Sonic Jam, Burning Rangers and even SA1's opening Sonic Team logo opening still give a little tingle whenever loaded up...
