So I watched Awesome Chaotix and it had me thinking.
This guy went from the smart, street wise cool character to comic relief, ripe for parodies.
All because of that new voice. What gets me is that Vector HAD a good voice in the 4Kids Sonic X dub before they all went to space that mimicked his northeast US Sonic Heroes voice perfectly. As soon as the "4Kids voice actors will replace the game ones" the guy was doomed. It was sudden, wasn't it? Time went on and the "new voice" stayed, even though they changed voice actors. Looks like SEGA WANTS THAT VOICE. Regular people will probably don't care, but this guy was was one of the few that was designed ALONG Sonic as being part of his band.
tl;dr Vector thread.
Personally i don't know much about Vector but i see plenty of potential. He was useful in Heroes to me, however.
I hope, personally, he gets a higher role. Espio and, Mighty instead of Charmy to continue even.
He never did find the Computer Room... *sobs*
?
... oh wait, wrong Vector...
Carry on.
What get's me is that I actually LIKED the (Old Guard) Archie interpretation of of Vector. I really though that there was promise in that character, but was never fully utilized in that aspect. His initial distrust with Julie-Su, his hand in "inventing for instance. Even though he was at times type cast as a stereotypical "gangsta", he still stood out to out of the bunch who didn't have much character development at the time (I'm talking before Ian, so nohatethegammaplz)
... Then SEGA made him into 50CENT.
... I typed way too much about Vector. I need a drink...
... Then SEGA made him into Detective 50CENT, Thug 4 Hire.
fixed for accuracy
Also, Awesome Vector needs to have his own Hanna Barbera style cartoon.
... Then SEGA made him into Luke Cage, Hero 4 Hire.
fixed for accuracy
This in turn makes Espio, Danny Rand
