Figured you guys would never guess SONIC LABYRINTH.

1. 2nd part to a Good Future
In order to get a good ending, after getting the bonus stage earlier in the game, you have to activate the same code at the end of 4-2, causing the giant clock to sound and make birds fly out of it.

2. the guards go marching in, hurrah hurrah
Appearing in 4-2 (and in 4-3) are soldier bots that appear, walk in line, and explode in rhythm...especially along rainbow road bottomless tracks.

3. pseudo battle
In 4-4, you fight a fake floating Robotnik/Eggman whose body explodes, leaving its head (very nightmare fuelish)

4. waterfall fall n' fire
The conveyor belts throughout the game turn to mimic water in 4-3, simulating apparent deepness (enemies like fish jump out of them) and waterfalls, not to mention moving fire obstacles in 4-2

5. skull bash
One of the enemies in 4-3 is a bug eyed skull that shoots fireballs

6. looks like we will have to take this TO THE MOOOON! Full moon that is
In 4-1, if you pause and scroll upwards, you will find that the act is actually outside, with a full moon appearing very visably

7. don't follow the arrows
4-1 is home to bird archers that shoot arrows in Sonic's way

And there you have it. I purposely picked Labyrinth of the Castle because it was so diverse and had so much stuff that I could give you many obscure clues, clues that clashed individually with other more well known zones.
