You expect the developers to make the game look, feel, and flow asif you're breaking the sound barrier, while making the enivorments navigateable?

Said it before, n' I'll say it again: We need a sprint button. The sprint button would allow us to go as fast as we like whenever we like, while keeping the games playable. Sonic Rush sorta has what I want by the looks of things, but it'd be nice to have it in the 3D games too.

And I'm not talking Tomb Raider sprint button. I'm talking mach speed sprint button. ...Maybe it could work like gears to satisfy the people what want a balance. One button takes you down a gear, another takes you up. I think that could work pretty well.

but my theory is that in Amy's mind: Hedgehog + Hedgehog = Sonic XXX.
I dont get your theory but Amy loves sonic and I guess her mind wont accept the fact another hedgehog is as fast as sonic, shes just thinking with her heart (besides kids dont pay a lot of attention to detail anyway).

I wouldn't be annoyed about it if it was a foggy pic like the footage Stewart watched, but he was right up in the screen

shadow looks a lot like sonic even up close. your problem is you don't put yourself in their shoes, think about how you'd react if you saw sonic for the first time and suddenly saw him turn into a gold hedgehog and later see him as a black hedgehog.

sonic's attitude and appearance changes when he's super sonic. they probably thought this is one of those times. I mean come on, no one gaveem a warning when he turned supersonic. The poor people had to try and figure all these new happenings themselves.
:( Youve got to feel a little sorry for them.

The first time I ever saw Shadow on a SA2 advert I thought he was Knuckles. XD
Don't ask me why, maybe it was because I was 10 years old, maybe it was because Sonic was beside him and the only other character I could relate him to was Knuckles(I only had played a few SMS games and watched Sonic Underground, maybe the red stripes tricked me XD).
I remember I complained that Sonic's eyes weren't green and that his legs weren't like that and that "Knuckles" wasn't such a dark red (I didn't think it was black XD) and hadn't got ears.
The second time I saw him on a website though I recognised immediatly that it was a new character, makes no sense. 😛

When I first read about Shadow on ff.net, I found myself thinking, "Who the hell is this Shadow guy everyone's spouting about?"

It took me almost two months to find out he was a Canon character, and a hedgehog.

I had first seen Shadow in an issue of GamePro magazine in about 2000. I didn't think anything of it... except that he was just a black and red hedgehog.

i mean come on, if you saw a dancing pink elephant and then saw a green dancing elephant won't you think it's the same one?

No, because I'm not naive enough to assume that all elephants who know how to dance also know how to magically change their colors at will.

I remember my grandpa used to call black blue.

Well, sonny, I think it's high time you learned about something we old-timers all know and dread... It's called senility.

oh no grandpa had a very strong memory :thumbsup better than my parents, he never got my name wrong like they always do.
but really, I think it's just his culture.
your very funny though, no one ever called me "sonny" before. very embarrassing.

I think it makes sense. like when you have to watch a movie twice to get the ending. shadow's so complex.
