The reason why Shadow has been pushed into our faces for the past few years was because of a poll. That one had Nack, Bean, and Bark.

This is SEGA's official Facebook page. There was a poll earlier on it that was similar to this one but with the main side characters, remember? What I hear is Knuckles actually beat Shadow in that one.

Metal Knuckles had blades in place of Knuckles's knuckles. The look alike in SA didn't.
Seeing that Sega/Sonic Team likes to ruin the characters they have now, do you really want to see your old obscure favorites revived?

Agreed John, but the legallities involved in that one would be too much for Sega to bother with. Shame, she has a cool design and the color scheme would be a nice addition to the roster of Sonic girls where there is an abundance of pink and purple. Also, seeing as she was based Honey/Candy, it'd be cool if she retained tournament fighting as one of her hobbies. I just think that'd be a cool trait in a female character, one who enjoys martial arts for fun. The original Honey also liked fashion design.

That response is the exact opposite of what I got in the STCO forums. Mind you they had a few Honey the cat fanatics come in and mess things up. lol
Also one of the troubles with Honey is the whole heart shaped chest piece. Some other Sonic character nicked that one.
She'd probably be redesigned/reimagined anyway, seeing as Honey was never officially unveiled.

I got that error as well until I logged in to my facebook account. That may fix the problem for you.

Probably the case. Thanks Ducttaped, DB Vulpix. I had a friend printscreen the results so I could see them and then cast a vote for me. He does have a Facebook account, so that's likely why it worked.

I'm willing to bet there were some of the members Sonic Team who made Sonic Heroes knew about the Chaotix, than there are the Sonic Team we have now that knows about Fang. At least they didn't openly admit that they haven't heard of the Chaotix.
But they basically admit that their game never probably existed. 😛
For the record, isn't Fang technically a creation of Sega of Japan? In the grand scheme of things I doubt it matters all that much, but inter-office politics at Sega have sometimes led to some strange outcomes.

If the situation between SoA and SoJ is anything like it was in the past, I wouldn't put it past SoJ to put Fang under lock and key if it were the case. Look what happened when SoA wanted to use the NiGHTS engine.
Unless the two have settled downed since then.

Yeah, I believe one of the people working on Unleashed (I forget his position, but I think they were pretty high up in Sonic Team or Sega) was asked if Fang would be in the game, due to the fact that there was a really shaky rumor about him being in the game was going around. When asked about Fang/Nack, he said: "Who?"
