I'm not gonna lie; that was pretty awesome. I'm surprised at how many of those flowed together so well.

Apparently I'm the only person not particularly impressed by this.

It has potential though.

Honestly, that tried to put too much in at once, and it just didn't work.

Sky Sanctuary and Mission Street sound like pure bliss.

Im surprised how much of this works together. Also its reminded me how good Sonic Unleashed's music was.

Also kinda surprised that there was no Shadow or Chaotix music. Surely GUN Fortress could have appeared? Oh well.

GUN Fortress was probably the best song in that game, true. Maybe this person never played it.

I'll play a bit of devil's advocate as well, Boss. While many of the combinations of songs on here are amazing, several mashups are just cacophonic, not meshing together at all. Speed Highway and S3DBlast Credits, for example, or most of Metal Harbor and Emerald Hill 2P. Azure Lake and Splattergonia was pretty rough.

But I cannot deny that the mashup of all the Eggman themes was in-credible.

I quite enjoyed The Doom and Lost Impact (or whatever the two flashback levels were called) myself. GUN Fortress was cool too, as was Sky Troops.

Well, any song starts to wear thin after spending an hour listening to it while looking for one last AC.

That was amazing.

It's also made me realize just how memorable the music from the Genesis era is compared to today.

Which is why I always just stuck to the neutral mission.

Pretty cool, some moments went together really well, unfortunately, as said, too much at once at made for a mess.

With more work it could be even better, as is it's pretty cool and nostalgic, and made me realise I haven't heard much of the Sonic Unleashed soundtrack.

I haven't played it, but I watched the LP, so I could recognize the music.

... I didn't like it.

Like some others said there were portions of it that sounded entirely too busy. There were places with multiple tracks where it just sounded like a bunch of random noise. The areas where 3 tracks were used were especially vulnerable to this. Some tracks were also simply overpowered by others because the volume was too low. Palmtree Panic Good Future was one of them. There were also some Speed Ups / Slow Downs that distorted some of the tracks. I didn't recognize the slowed down Spagonia Day until the end of that segment.

Feeling a bit of a " Style Clash " happened in some places in addition to that. Might not be a bad idea to update some tunes so they're played on more modern instruments (or downgrade newer tracks) so it all meshes together easier. If people played the game they'll probably recognize the music no matter what instruments they were played with.

about the memorable feel, if you remember the ending of sonic's first game in the credits they would show you all the zones with samples of their music. so yeah it's a cool idea.
