I think Sonic Advance 3 is the best because you can team up with other characters.

Oh, well, while we're at it...
1) 2, as it's better than 1, and I haven't played 3.
2) It helped keep the 2D fans complacent.
3) Nah. Sonic Team's putting more of a focus on the 3D games now. Maybe they could make 2D games as unlockables or minigames in some of the bigger titles.
