Japan has always had the same Voice-Over Artists for the games and Sonic X. Will you see the games putting Decoe and Bocoe into something? Likely not.
Decoe and Bocoe are definetely better than Robos 1 and 2, even if they are not in the game. I'd rather see them than Robo 1 and 2, but it's ok if they're not.

The Fisher Price My First Trip to the Ghetto playset, more like it.

"The reason they exist is that SEGA needed someone other than Eggman for team Eggman."
I don't think there is a 'Team Eggman' in the game. There's a 'Team Sonic' and 'Team Babylon', but that's as far as it goes. Sure Jubilee is in there, but they don't have a suitable third member for the Power category. It don't think it's going to be any of the non-Sonic series unlockable characters.

"i am a school teacher, you know."
Holy crap. What do you teach? We already know it's not anything that requires knowledge of pop culture.
i'm a language teacher, i teach 3 languages.
i finished high school when i was 17, got international tests in summer and have been teaching at high school since (17 + 20=) 3 years.
i didn't want to tell anyone i was smart cause i always seem dumb no matter what i do. even in the other languages.
So what will we do if Robot 1/2 end up having powerplaying stats and end up being the best characters in the game? :3

surely 17 + 20 = 37?
I'll use the robots, even if they do look stupid. Probably only once or twice though. If they are better than all the other characters, I will still prefer the originals, but I certainly don't mind using them.
Sonicknight, You're not a teacher of any language that requires grammar, that much is for sure.
Chao Walker and Dark Chao Walker are also pointless from SA2 and SA2B. Luckily they were only for 2P mode.
They were CUTE, and extra skins only, though Dark Chao replaces Big, which makes me cry. I love Big.
From the looks of screens on the japanese Riders site, the robot characters might be 'humor characters' like Decoe and Bocoe are in Sonic X (though I probably shouldn't jump to that conclusion, as all the characters have humorous special attacks). At least that'll add some character to them.
Not to go off topic, but what was Tails' secret character in SA2? Was it still the Chao robot? Only just in the Tails' walker?
Hm.
The robot characters look silly, I think I'll mostly play as Rouge, Shadow, or Wave. (Eggman if I need a strength character :P) If I can, that is.
Why not use Decoe and Bocoe? It's not like Sega don't own the license to Sonic X's characters.
Three guesses who's going to perform the voices of Robo 1 and Robo 2.

Tails had the same secret character in SA2 and SA2B--chao walker and all.
If Sega uses Decoe's and Bocoe's voices for Robo 1 and 2 it would be pointless when they could have used Decoe and Bocoe in the first place.

I'd disagree. If Sega/Sonic Team/whoever is attempting to keep the video game series and the cartoon series storylines separate, it makes a lot of sense to exclude Decoe and Bocoe. Whoever does the voices has no bearing on the characters that appear in the game, or the storyline that occurs within the game. If they wanted, they could decide to switch the voice-over for Sonic & Knuckles (as an example) and it wouldn't really make a difference. However, adding characters that aren't supposed to exist within a universe is a much bigger issue than who the voices are or aren't.

Yeah I guess you're right. The voices don't really matter. I just don't like Robo 1 and 2 at this moment.
