What is this Funimation channel? I wish to show Tricia the Slayers dub so we can watch my boxsets of NEXT and TRY, but without the first season she cannot watch the others.
Slayers <3

True very Few Cable Providers Have Funimation channel its mostly only satilite providers have it even then its one of those "On demand" or "Extra Channels" You have to pay extra to get..Like HBO or STRZ,,,But Funimation says that there gonna Try to Go to Basic Cable Providers with the Upcoming TV Transition this Febuary...But so far most cable Providers don't seem Interested...I hope they change there minds...If I could Watch anime all Day on a weekend or a Break...I'd be Ecstatic!!
and I guess I should also mention Soul Eater has a better chance of being on FUnimation channel the CN/AS although Funi has asked CN if there interested...It seems theres still some Tension Between CN & US anime Distributors right now..Cause of the Whole One piece & Naruto: Shippuden Fiasco...D%&n it CN just Let FUnimation Air One Piece & Viz air Shippuden on You are here or Adult swim and Quit being Jerks!!
most broadcasters nowadays don't really get that anime could be big if the bothered to show it on their channels. I mean naruto has given cartoon network quite a good bit of business and bleach has only added to that. hopefully someone will realize that theres money to be made in anime and start doing so. but im fine as long as cartoon network gets soul eater. that would be the best thing ever.
anime could be big
Really? Do people still say that? "Anime could be big?" I can see people saying that in the 80s and 90s, but honestly, anime is big and I really think it's as big as it can get. You can buy DVDs in almost any store that sells them, manga practically has taken over bookstores, and its level of exposure on television is what I would call 'healthy'.
I really think that the needle on anime may have already ticked into "overexposed" territory. If it hasn't, then it will soon.
um srol... anime isn't anywhere near that in the are of where i live..... Most bookstores have a manga section but compare that to the rest of the store and its not that big. we've only got 1 truly functioning anime channel and its generally something you have to pay extra for. anime in the us is nowhere near the levels of "mainstream" yet and it'll probably be a while before it truly is.
Balls...
*Checks to see if our Comcast has Funimation, as it sounds like a cool station*
