This board ain't big enough for two Rush fans.
Choose your weapon.
You two aren't the only Rush fans on the board.
Craig wins for being married to one.
Duel over.
Though if you insist we need a weapon, I choose The Weapon.

get on my level
tier: a row, rank, or layer of articles; especially : one of two or more rows, levels, or ranks arranged one above another
i challenge the legitimacy of that definition
I see no illegitimacy here.
A battle between two Rush fans?
WHO WILL EMERGE WITH THE ONE LITTLE VICTORY
why is that birth certificate approved by the army???
is diffinetion of tier born from a bullet?
Seventeen posts and Craig hasn't even thought about accepting your challenge. I think this means he wins by default for choosing not to fight. Of course, if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

First I've heard refusal means instant victory O_O

I just find it ridiculous anyone would dare to claim they're a bigger Rush fan than I am. Preposterous. I do not know how such things are measured, but trust me. Hukos ain't got a step on me. I've been to multiple Rush fan conventions, own 11 T-Shirts, a pair of Neil's drumsticks, a lithograph... I own all possible albums and books, have all their songs including about 20 bootlegs (Great Woods & Summer Skies is the best, do not let anyone tell you otherwise, it's superior in sound quality AND setlist to the official Different Stages release) and of course I obsessively go to MusicInTheAbstract in order to listen to the secret layered tracks, rare pre-releases (including some songs which had slightly altered lyrics) and the remixes such as Pitch Corrected Xanadu and Peaceable Kingdom with it's lyrical track stripped as it was originally intended.
As a side note, I can name every song Rush have never played live and can confidentially say I have heard live recordings of every single song that has been performed live especially now Entre Nous is no longer an ambiguous entry to their catalog. I also amassed a bootleg collection of all of Alex Lifeson's mid-show rants during his Vapor Trails La Villa Strangiato dialogs (Meat Bees!) and the ones during the Counterparts tour Closer to the Heart outros.
I can name all of the Rush songs which were never released including Garden Road, Sir Gaiwain & The Black Knight and Fancy Dancer, and have heard the radio show on WMMS radio which is attributed for Rush hitting it big back in Cleveland 1974. Due to befriending the UK's PR team I was able to see Rush in Rio 3 times before it's release, the first 35 minutes at the 2004 fan convention in England, once at the PR Manager's house that same October while I was travelling to see a tribute gig and then on the day before the DVD release where 6 cinemas in the country aired the entire duration as a special promo event.
There was even a dark period of time a few years ago (mostly before Guitar Hero came out and made Rush a lot more mainstream acceptable) where I went through 2112.net's pop-culture reference guide and watched about 80% of them. Words cannot express how much more of a Rush fan I am than you... than a good 95% of all Rush fans. I am not just obsessed, I honestly live and breathe that band to a degree which should not be acceptable for a functioning member of society. Do not DARE step up to me again, my friend. This is just a casual warning. Not even I know what would happen if you were to attempt to insist this further.
band fandom on a spam forum

:crazy:crazy:crazy:crazy:crazy
Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with Craig winning this
Get on his level, Hukos.

Craig, Craig,Craig. You misunderstand me.
This isn't a battle to see who is the bigger fan.
This is a battle to the death.
In this thread: joking member makes original post targeting a specific member in jest, accidentally hits a raw nerve and summons the unholy wrath of targeted member, joking member continues to joke not realising that he's about to get his skull caved in by targeted member Internet style, this poster breaks out the popcorn and stays 100ft away from the show at all times.
(I wonder how many times I'll be able to use that blanket statement again?)
I've got crumpets and tea! *passes them around the spectators*

Pass on the crumpets, I've already filled up on popcorn.
And the real fight hasn't even started yet...
This can only end in a Prog Rock Broadway musical depicting the struggle betwixt the pair.
..
Carry on.
Creo, you hurt me.
I'm going to slap you in the face now.

I like the sound of that.
Actually, now that I think about it...
Great Woods & Summer Skies
You know how you mentioned to me that this was a good album, what...two or three years ago, when I was first getting into Rush? Well I've pretty much made an attempt every few months to look for it on torrent sites etc, and I finally got hold of it last month.
So, uh, thanks for the help.
This duel was never resolved.
Mr. Bayfield I expect a full report of your fandom (including names, dates, places, people, all cited and sourced multiple times) on my desk by tomorrow morning or else.
Sorry, I was too busy watching Rush on South Park and admiring how badass this image is:
Craig, do you know if that issue's come out in the states yet? I haven't missed an issue yet.
brb making that image my desktop background
