I think the best episode was the "Birdman 1967" episode. That was pretty hilarious with the newer voice actors.

Marco Polo was a famous Italian in the 1200's who travelled around the known world - literally from Paris to Peking - with his father and brother and recorded his journeys along the way, later publishing them. It's one of the most famous "wandering traveller" accounts to be had.

Marco Polo is also the name of a water game where someone - who is "it" - closes their eyes and shouts out "Marco!" Everyone else responds, "Polo!" and the "it" person has to follow the sound of people's voices in order to tag someone - without opening their eyes.

Reminds me of the episode of Family Guy where Stewie played Marco Polo with Hellen Keller. 😛

As for Harvey Birdman...I like the episode where Birdman gets all hyped up on 'sun cream' to replace the sun's rays. I think that episode had the biker whose name I forget; with medication for EVERYTHING.

going to the swimming pool is usually a crowded and dull affair, so i guess that's why that game isn't known.

then again, the pools i know either have over-enthusiastic lifegaurds who'd prefer us to simply swim up and down, or massive places with slides and so much noise you can barely hear your freinds. ^^;

There was this one cool pool when we were living in Austria, I believe...it had this wave-making machine that allowed you to bob up and down in gentle but resounding waves made in the water, you could go up and down pretty far and it was safe - awesome to go swimming in the deep end with that going as the waves get bigger the closer to the unit you got.

They had cool pool parks there in Austria, wish I could go to them again.

i disliked the only pool that had that machine.

well, partly because some idiots there nearly drowned me after dropped a massive foam board on my head and then jumped on it.
..little wonder i dislike swimming compelately now. ^.x;;
