Both cheeks have the Japanese symbol for "V". It comes from the game's title - Mugen Senshi Valis (Valis: The Fantasm Soldier) - and it's an edited pic. I both ripped from the ROM and edited it in paint, so the only places you should find it are in my signatures, my avatars, my upload sites, my profile sites, and my forums. I have other ones, too, but I like that one more. =^-^=

Actually, the game is called "Valis" and nowhere in the title's kanji does it have what you described. And Wikipedia begs to differ, as it provides both the writing in Japanese, which is very similar to that on the game - "夢幻戦士ヴァリス; Valis: The Fantasm Soldier". 😛 If it was "Uaris" or "Ualis", then you might be right. I have every reason to believe that "Varis" is the only possible mistranslation of the name, or if "Valis" is the mistranslated form, then "Varis" would be the corresponding correct form.
I have Japanese friends who are actually from Japan, not Japanese born and raised in America. :3
