the only star fox game I've played was Adventures. It was...ok. Just short, and far too much running around collecting pointless rubbish. And the combat was very shallow.
lol @ THS. Adventures wasn't "Star Fox", it was Zelda-ish Rare game w/ SF characters tacked on... I almost beat it, except I couldn't get past one of the "DON'T MOVE THE CONTROL STICK TOO MUCH" scenes with the TRex guy.
Command was 'eh' in my opinion. Too much strategy, not enough "on the rails" fighting. The square battle areas got old after a while.

Damn Nintendo for not letting Rare stick with the original Dinosaur Planet for the N64. Nintendo wanted to tact on StarFox characters. :O
