If you people hadn't been shoving it down our throats before I might have decided to look at it on my own earlier.
You depraved me for months of this enjoyment!
More lame anime that I don't care about. Joy.
lol... I've found that the MoFo'ers were right about Haruhi and Phoenix Wright... I'm going to take the next suggestion seriously.

^ Quite possibly the most unnecessary response to a topic in existence.
I watched the first few episodes of Haruhi, in chronological order.
I didn't like it as much as everyone's been ranting and carrying on about it.
It was nice.
Non chronological order = :<
I've found I actually prefer the English dub
Why can't american shows be as interesting?
Quite possibly the most unnecessary response to a topic in existence.
The irony, saying that in the SPA. 8D
Phoenix Wright was crammed down my throat, but I had the choice of "play it or be ignored for a week and a half". For Haruhi, it's a matter of getting off my butt and downloading episodes of a series that people have been cramming down my throat. I don't feel like expending the effort :p I'm sure it's very entertaining, but I'm not gonna watch it anytime soon.

Oh my love... you had to type that responce before your Haruhist boyfriend got on a plane, didn't you?
*Packs Vol. 1*
:3
DVDs suck because they're in chronological order and the final episode with the climax is ep 6
They are?
Wow, that's... lame. o.o
I prefer the light novels just so I don't have to watch that silly dance.
You are a heathen, Torn! The dance is obviously the greatest bit! >:O
Forget that! I fear (hate) the dance and my computer playing the dance with the sound on!
hmmmmmm @ Sagey. If Craig supplies vol 1, I can make illegal copies of my vol 2,3, and 4 and just mail them to you
You are so mean when you're drunk.
The irony, saying that in the SPA. 8D
Yeah, I realized that shortly after I posted it.
I have never watched an episode of Haruhi and never plan to out of sheer indifference.
I've never seen an episode or volume of Haruhi either nor have I played any of the PW games. I must be a bad boy. >_>
Probably
Haruhi is ok
That's all
gurren-lagann > clannad > haruhi books > haruhi anime
It would help if anyone explained what Haruhi is. I see "GO WATCH HARUHI NOW" a ton here, but noone ever explains what exactly Haruhi is. I learned from context that it's some kind of anime?
From what I can tell it is like Scooby Doo except with the meddling kids blackmailing random people to get their way as well as drinking Redbull to keep their dance energy up. Then the meddling kids give a cosplay concert and sing Megaman tunes and somehow the main character becomes the universe, thus pointing a gun to her psychotic head and the reality divides by zero, somehow.
Of course that's an outsider's view. I've been trying hard to not read spoilers in case I do ever watch it. (Just like I did with Death Note in case it went to english on TV, which it did )

No, there's a better contender for that title.
SX, here is Craig's summary of the series.
Quote:
Haruhi is the story of God.
If God was a 15 year old psychotic Japanese school girl with no idea that she was God. She unconciously dreams up the world we live in.
She believes in Aliens, Time Travellers and Psychics... so because she does, they exist, but if she KNEW they exist the world would change, as God knows that they exist rather than believes.
The protagonist is a guy called Kyon who is a normal human and dragged into the crazy world because his presence sparked Haruhi to create a club designed to "save the world by overflowing it with fun"
This is very literal, because the great danger is, if she gets bored with the world. She will destroy it and create it anew.
That's basically the plot. This was the first anime series I have watched more than a single episode since ... damn, Pokemon?
I watched the first 6 episodes, and decided that it just wasn't my cup of tea. I can't stand Haruhi's character.
But, I did come up with my own theory, just based upon what I watched.
Kyon is really God, not Haruhi. It was him who wished for this to happen. Aliens, Time Travellers, and Psychics, and a girl who he was attracted to who shared the same interests, Haruhi.
