i. if the room has crt monitors and you are strong enough to lift one up, you should discconect the monitor, pick it up, then smash it on one of the fellow screaming students head. This will cause the rest of the class to be stunned into silence.

ii. Fire, and lots of it.

iii. Start screaming yourself, however the results can go either way. They might stop screaming and look at you like a mad woman or theywill carry on getting louder and louder.

iv. Go home. Not much point being in a room full of nutters.

i have the same sort of problem when i'm at uni trying to use the computers there..
i once spent a happy moment visulising chasing them all down and stabbing them in the ear with my coloured markers. >>; then i realised that there's no way they'd accept that as 'art' and so saved my pens from an ear-waxy death. ^^
